Channel 4 were so scared of the housemates misbehaving and possibly getting the show in trouble with Offcom or be accused of binge drinking that they totally watered down one of the most controvercial shows on tv.

Yeah definitely, barely remember them drinking at all in BB11, they did quite a lot in BB12 and the CBB's and they seem to drink pretty much every night this series

by bb5 it was locked away in a fridge and supplied at big brothers discretion.

The rules on how alcohol is shown on tv have changed dramatically over the last ten years if you think C4 were at fault for the alcohol thing then your nieve at best.

BB11 was the WORST. They literally have them no alcohol, which is why the feed was so boring at night and the parties were ****.

BB10 had some alcohol, I remember Sophie getting drunk quite a few times.

That's one of the reasons i'm thankful for C5 and not C4, because C4 really treated BB like **** by the end and turned it into a PC toddler show.

If i remember rightly C4 were rapped and told that they werent allowed to show a housemate exceeding the reccomended daily amount of units and the total for the week doesnt exceed the weekly reccomended amount. but that didnt stop the mungo brained amongst us being ignorant and blaming it on C4 and then congratulating C5 for giving them more even though it is at the cost of the live feed and we dont even get to see it.

I would rather have a dry house with 24 hour live feed than a pissed one with only 5 hours of highlights per week.
