I actually really, really liked him. It's as if in the last week he's had some massive autocue coaching, I didn't notice him reading it once. And I think they've actually taken some of our advice and cut his script down and let him ad-lib a bit more.

He was also dressed better, more relaxed and as a viewer I felt more relaxed watching him, particularly cause I didn't notice any autocue reading. Major contrast from last week's indoor show where sadly I noticed him reading the autocue more than ever.

Honestly I thought he was really good tonight. He became the presenter I imagined and wanted him to be when he got the job.

He was good on the main show. He isn't ever going to be Davina nor is he host of the year but you can clearly see improvement.

BOTS was another story.. he was amazing on that. He looked more relaxed and not at all awkward.

He was better tonight but I still think there's room for improvment.

Still not really fussed on Brian, he makes me cringe a lot and I find myself laughing at him not with him even though there's no denying that he has improved since those dire first weeks on CBB8. I feel Big Brother works better with a female as the main show host.

I always preferred female hosts, although Russell Brand was an exception.

He's always great on BOTS and other shows, and I've always said he's at his best and funniest when he's spontaneous, hence why they should cut his script down.

I can't have been the only one to notice how much he had improved his autocue reading though? His eyes didn't move side to side once, and he kept looking away whilst reading.

He was better. I just wish he would cut out the cringe such as "My favourite outfit of Arron's was the red PVC pants" and such like which make him look a bit pervy. :nono:

I think he,s dreadful, he must be well in with someone at c5, no one else would give him a job, there,s no professionalism in him at all, he ushers people about flufs his lines ,Emma willis would do a better job imo

He is still reading scripted stuff IMO. Big time. I didn't see any improvement really. He is either scripted or he has a really bored set of stuff he'll think to say each time. It's so predictable now that he's like Brianbot to me.

I'm sorry, but I find his autocue reading second rate and most of his quips are sordid, salacious and aimed at his own arse.

I thought he was a bit better last night, but I loved him on BBBOTS more.

I loved him on both shows. His enthusiasm is infectious. I wish they'd give him more of a free rein on the main show. I think he could and should do both shows on an eviction night, with a longer interview on the main show and the freedom of little or no script on BOTS.

I was there on the launch night and even though on the autocue every so often it just say "BRIAN AD-LIB" and an amount of time, so they are definitely letting his chat more.

He is terrible. One of the weakest parts of BB on C5. He should be switched with Emma Willis.

I really like Brian anyway but he seemed really at ease last night, all through the main show and he was excellent on bbbots as well.

Really don't get most of these posts. Surely it can't just be me who noticed how poorly he read the autocue in the studio last week and how unnoticeable it was last night back outside on the set? Maybe I just have an eye for these things.

I thought so, that's good news :D

No he doesnt, he may be improving but he is still pathetic at hosting by any standard.
