Who will take over from Chris as the next 'Big Character'?

Chris was a 'big character'. Like him or hate him, he dominated the highlights. Maybe some HM's felt overshadowed by him. Now he is gone, who do you think will step up so much that they dominate the highlight shows?

More of a deadpan snarker "Han Solo" type than a straightforward hero or villain, though. Not that there is anything wrong with that, as Luke and Darth without Han don't bear thinking about. ;)

I think Caroline is too smart to stand out yet. Thats why i'm worried none of the girls (apart from Lydia) will stand out. They want to be under the radar rather then be major characters are get voted out.

I think she will cause it all involved around Chris. Unless she stands a another hate hate reltionship with someone i think she will fade away.

That seems altogether likely and depressing. :( Caroline needs stronger characters around her to undermine, such is the lot of the sarky Shakespearean jester ... Hopefully another wannabee alpha will fill Chris' boots in time, and start taking the flak.

It's a shame they haven't put any geeks in for a while. The last i can think of was Andrew, from a couple seasons back. Granted he wasn't a great HM...but at least it adds to the variety. I've never understood the BB production strategy of constantly picking HMs because they "look good" on camera. Yep, it gets some folks excited on the opening night, and for a week or so, but u gotta watch these people for a couple of months. And for me at least, their physical appearance becomes irrelevant once they open their mouth. I swear BB production has always severely limited the possibilities of having a great, entertaining show, by this silly obsession with beauty.

Not sure any of the ones in there could fill the void left by Chris - I was so hoping he stayed to see the look on Caroline, Scott and Becky's faces - he really would have spent another week tormenting them but sadly it's not going to happen now :(
