Just stumbled across this  From January 2006.
It's brilliant how serious and political it is, being broadcasted on an early BBC News show - and they went from asking him questions about Saddam Hussain, to who he wants to win Celebrity Big Brother 4.
When one of the reporters mentioned the final - in the middle of all these serious questions, and George goes:
'I'd like Pete to win, But I suspect it will be Preston. :)'
Brilliant. This also clearly shows just how big the show was back then aswell.
