Just to make sure we won't lose great HM's early and give the chance for the show to get off the ground.
I think over the long run it could make sure we lose deadwood early.

Thing is the whole nominating process is the deal with BB. And people would tire having to vote for their favourites.

This.
And also everyone has different ideas of what a great hm actually is.

Well I've always said it should happen at least twice every series regardless as a general rule with some double evictions to cull the dull, but perhaps at the start isn't that bad an idea.
I have to say the constant loss of big characters does throw up some important questions regarding the nominations process - maybe it's time it was altered slightly, or indeed scrapped altogether? I love nominations but the issue is that it's always the housemates that you want to keep as a viewer (i.e. the ones that are annoying the others) that are up for that very reason, there's a conflict of ideas obviously between the housemates themselves and the viewer, and it's not great really.

Just for two weeks or so, We can't afford to lose many more Great Hm's thanks to Teenies . The shows have suffered thanks to the Public's bad taste.

Well said Jack, i think we should just put everyone up for at least the first two weeks just to help the entertainment of the show. Ever since BB6 it has become a big probelm with losing Great Hm's over dullards.

Also some HMs are slow-burners so we could actually get rid of somebody potentially amazing. Vote to Save works with 3+ so I think that should be the limit up (at least until half way).

They should alter the nomination process next year perhaps - so the housemates vote to keep eachother in.
But then that could also backfire.

Itd be the same everyweek with most.
Unless they have to change from the week before :eureka:

Positive nominations could work (although I've never really liked the idea and would miss negative ones, but like has been said there is an issue clearly), you could have the housemates with the least nominations up - there'd almost definitely be a fair few up, potentially five or six each week.
And I have a feeling the larger characters could do better under positive nominations as well, while no one's gonna hate Luke A/Benedict enough to nominate them under, I can't really see many positively voting for them? They'd surely choose the bigger characters, like Chris who evidently after tonight's show was loved by quite a few - just struggled because of how irritating he was for them under negative noms. Could work in the bigger characters favour potentially.

Yeah I agree.
