View Full Version : Lydia Questionable Judging

Does anyone else think her judging in the dance contest was completely biased and way off? I would lay 5-1 that any proper dancer would have laughed at her awarding the win to Deana in the first dance-off. Conor ran rings around Deana while she just stayed in the one spot doing the same move with a few variations.
Here's how I would of judged the dance-offs:
Deana V Conor: Connor by a mile.
Becky V Caroline: Both hilariously bad but Becky had more energy.
Arron V Sara: Pretty close from what little was shown. Would need to see more.
Shievonne V Lauren: Lauren had more energy and more moves.
Benedict V Luke A: Benedict smashed it (Plus the cut away to Scott droolling was quite funny )
Ashleigh V Luke S: Luke was smoother and hit that hand-stand type move perfectly while Ashleigh messed her one up.
Adam V Scott: Adam was way more hip-hop than Scott (the excuse she gave for picking Shev). They were both about as smooth but Adam had more power and energy.

Not at all. She choose Scott over Adam for starters.
I thought she did a really good job as a judge :joker:
Looked at comedy which I didnt expect, thought she'd be wellllllllllll serious.

Oh she gave plenty of excuses alright. And how exactly was Deana funnier than Conor? She was her usual reserved self. She even dressed down for the task. No high heels, oversized top/dress thing, and covered her face half the time. And she had ONE MOVE for the entire song.
I'm not saying she's not hot. I'm saying her dancing was not very interesting.

It was hip hop, she dressed the part and was polar opposite of who Deana is............. definitely got into it if you ask me!

It's hopeless mate.
Considering we barely saw any of the dancing, it's a bit harsh to judge Lydia. But from the little that I did see, she was alright.

Make up your mind dude!!
One minute you're confused about it being oversized, the next you're like 'That's what hop-hop is about bruv!'
One minute you think Scott was clearly better than Adam with his pure Vogue style over Adams Hip-hop and the next your implying Hip-hop was the whole point of the competition when Deana is involved.
I'm sorry Jords. I thought you were an unbiased poster. My bad.

Lydia gave a strong confident run as a dance judge. She gave good and bad points on both contestants to create some tension before her verdict. That was good drama.
She was also completely biased in giving her decision to Deana over Conor who she dislikes. Just watch that one dance-off again and tell me Deana had more skillz than Conor.

Firstly I didnt say bruv so I dont know why you are tryna make me sound like a chav, but anyway bruv! At first I thought you meant she was not wearing an over-sized top...
'No high heels, oversized top/dress thing, and covered her face half the time. And she had ONE MOVE for the entire song.'
I thought the no was carried. Thats why I questioned it. Then you said that it isnt figure hugging and the hip hop look is loose and baggy. Lets be honest did you want to see tits? Because fair enough if you did but its not at all relevant to the task :joker:
She got involved, dressed up and was gangster. And I found it funny because like I said, its polar opposite to 'Deana'.
One minute you think Scott was clearly better than Adam with his pure Vogue style over Adams Hip-hop and the next your implying Hip-hop was the whole point of the competition when Deana is involved.
I never said Scott was clearly better. I said she chose Scott over Adam, referring to you saying she was biased in the OP. If she was, shed have choosen Adam. I personally agree that Adam was better.
I'm sorry Jords. I thought you were an unbiased poster. My bad.
I like to think I am unbiased and just because I stick up for 1 of my favourites I hope that doesnt all of the sudden take that credit away. I often point out the flaws with Lyds and she is my very favourite now Chris is gone.
Hope I cleared it up bruv!!

I thought it was pretty obvious she was trying to pull off the classic male hip hop rapper look

No, I think you're looking into this too much. Just because you disagreed with her choices doesn't mean that she was in anyway bias in favor of certain housemates. I hate it when people throw that word around because things aren't playing out how they would like them to. Personally, I agreed with all of her choices bar the last one (Adam/Scott - thought Adam was the better of the two). We only saw about 30 seconds of each dance, Lydia was able to watch the whole thing so I think that needs to be taken into account, too.

I've been dancing for quite a while and personally I can tell alot about someone's dancing with a 30 second clip. In each clip of Deana V Conor he was doing something different and she was doing the same move. Her feet were glued to the same spot.
Check it again. Tell me I'm wrong.

Ok I've checked it again and you're wrong. I personally think that Deana, even if she was glued in the same spot, put way more energy into it. Conor just jiggled and jumped around. IMO its more fun watching somebody dancing, which was the point of the task, than it is watching somebody transition into numerous different dance moves.

How true. And she took it so seriously... but then I wouldn't have expected anything else from her.

Conor was sh!te. Deana was much better. :hmph:
The only wrong choice was Adam V Scott. Adam was way better.
Oh and Lauren was better than Shievonne, who hardly moved.

It wasnt the fun factor, it was a dance off...:conf: Conor tried to shove Deana off the floor, Deana rocked that contest no question, and Conors "worm" ....how embarrassing..:joker:
