Yeah I agree. I mean, he riles people up but I don't find him himself to be that of a great housemate. He's too wishy-washy, he causes arguments but then he backs down from them and apologizes which I don't like.

Air time good or bad = votes - his namesake knew this last year.

It was a contrived mini speech ie it also felt scripted and too timely. As if the nomination music was timing him in and he remembered what BB had scripted him to say. Sadly Twitbook 13 year olds will lap it up.

Arron despite his pretty model looks is not too vacuous on BB ractics but very savvy - play to your audience ie tweens and teens and gay guys (hes deliberately not addressing Scot issue too much). He doesnt care about being a forum fav with older viewers.

Forum opinion's confuse me at times. Alot of people complain that they want HMs that do something and cause some sort of drama. When you get that, alot of the time they are hated. :laugh:

Nope, his namesake last year was up every other week from week 1 and topped the vote (everyone was a three way except Jem head to head and she walked). Yet the HMs still nommed him knowing that whoever was up would probably get less votes

I'm pretty sure Denise, Natalie & Nicola were hated on forums.. & Denise winning wasn't a victory

I think 3 things, 1) they were all there to hear him so all would know he said it with no twisting of his words from anyone else,
2)He was genuinely relieved that he wasn't nominated for eviction this week so a bit of gratitude in there too and finally 3) He knew it would for sure get airtime.

Overall, a clever move.
