Its just bitching, Nom talking and backstabbing. I like that side of things but its really has made this lot really dislikeable cause they never have any fun moments that doesn't end without Nom talks. Its i'm afraid to say start to get a tad bit boring.

the house needs a new Hm that just doesn't care about nom talk and just wants to have fun. you need to have a fun side to all this bitching and backstabbing. This lot can't do it.

Does anyone else feel the same?

I agree with arsenalforever and Nathan. BB6 is the gold standard of BB for me, and I don't quite feel the same way I did on Day 14 of that series. I like this year's crop of housemates but barring some extraordinary developments I don't see BB13 attaining classic status.

I mean, come on...remember the box task, the secret garden, the "optional noms" week, Anthony & Craig, the pregnancy "scare," Kinga and the wine bottle, Kemal going crazy about Makosi being a mole, Roberto dumping pasta over Maxwell's head...there are an endless number of priceless moments from that series. There were just the right number of housemates, and the series had the right mix of fun, arguments, drama, friendship, and controversy.

Undoubtedly BB13 is the best of the C5 era, including celeb BBs IMO. But I am starting to grow a tad weary of it.

They are 2 weeks in and nothing has been made of any of the tasks they have set. Are they running out of ideas. All we are getting is bitching about noms. If they are going to be allowed to talk then the nomns should be in front of eachother. Its as someone said, its a poor version of a past show, boring snoozefest. It has potential but BB are handing it again to a master manipulator. I wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt Lauren this year like Aaron last yr. Up for noms nearly every week and saved and liked more and more by the public till all her scheming HM,s are evicted.

If they can talk about noms, more often than not a big charachter will be up every week and the slimy gameplanners will run the show and all we will get is bitchiness and gossip. Can anyone give me an interesting storyline this year, there aint any and we are 2 weeks in already. The noms talking has turned interesting HM,s into boring bitchy moaners.

Im ready to turn off the highlights and just watch BBLB, at least they have a storyline and Emma. Have you noticed the studio audience, Its getting like a BB spin off show with Hinge and bracket (cant stand the lip licking thing) the 3 fat black girls (ALways fighting), the raging gay fraternity they keep shipping in and Mr dullard himself in the black glasses and suit (he is another Pete Burns (infuriating but moostly right) Im liking BBLB more each week.

yeah bit boring and could get worst especially if we keep loosin decent housemates.
talking about noms is such a bad idear. each task seems to be covered in music and rushed. what was the kareoke thing usually we'd see that properly seems like so much is being missed out and rushed. and the rest is just a bitch fest.
you cant get to know anybody properly as they not saying anything except about noms. the only subject was benedicks tanking.
if they cant take about noms they have to talk about other things and do other things makes it so much more intresting. and any game players have to work harder. which makes for a better show.

Don't get me wrong, BB6 is a great season, but it took a while for storylines to really get started and for things to get good for me. There were a LOT of arguments in the beginning, but I didn't enjoy them as much as I could've because they were just a bunch of random arguments that didn't flow along with one storyline. Once BB6 got good, it got real good, but for me it took until Derek's convo about Saskia got played for everyone.

I think that BB13's gotten off to a real strong start, definitely a great opening week and a half. There's still a lot of room for things to change though. I feared that Arron staying over Chris would ruin the series, but we'll see with time. At least Lydia and Deana are always putting him in his place.

There has been funny moments shown on the vids posted on youtube but for some reason they haven't been included in the final edit.

Too much nom talk, too much scheming, too much bitching, too much arguing. I know a lot of people on here seem to take the view that you can't have too much arguments but I find they fast lose their appeal and prefer a balance of drama/fighting and the more light-hearted, funny moments, that's something I think BB12 had, and CBB9, but this series is missing it. Chris' arguments were amazing but that's just because of how much of a joke he was, I find there are pretty much no likeable characters left in there now, apart from Lauren and Arron

It's just so negative. All that bitching and nom talk isn't entertaining in the slightest, especially when there's nothing to balance it. Practically all of the housemates are coming across as nasty and/or dull right now, finding it hard to like any of them.

I am really coming to the end of the road as to nominations talk, it is totally ruining it for me now, the highlights again tonight, justifiably on about this weeks nominations, that's fine, then though what we start getting is Lydia and others talking already about next weeks nominations. We haven't had this weeks eviction yet.

Just about had enough of it and may only watch recordings of BB soon so I can move on from the nominations chat bits.It is really near all we are getting.

I wanted to give the people a chance. During the launch night I have my favorites but I've noticed that I often get a wrong impression on some of them, so I wanted to wait a while. But now I'm not too keen on what I'm seeing. Mostly there are people I don't like and the rest are not shown, so I don't know if I really like them or not. Anyhow, I find the shows boring. I didn't think it was going to be like that but it is. The house is very negative and I don't like that. I don't like the nominations talk but I'm a bit baffled that with that much of it, there are still so many people that get nominated (even though there seems to be the two that get a lot of nominations). If the show doesn't change, I might not bother to watch. And that's the first!

joeysteele

BB12 had many funny moments, the bananas incident was one of the funniest things ever on a BB series, also Rebecca and her video warning Aden that Anton was a snake.

I could go on for loads more too, this series started well but unlike any other BB series ever, now all we are getting is nominations talk in most highlights programmes,I don't want to watch that so for me it is ruining this BB series now, a little bit is fine but not the massive content being shown as to noms talk and plotting.

I agree also as to Lauren and Arron being likeable, I don't understand how some don't find them so.
However that is different opinions I guess but it would certainly seem the vast majority of the voting opublic for BB find Arron likeable to have him win a straight 2 way eviction battle with 62% of the votes, just around 5% under two thirds of all the votes cast went to Arron, hardly evidence of an character that 'isn't' likeable.

The banana's like Joey mentioned, the Wolfpack's revenge, the toy task when Jay fired Aaron and Harry and Harry's "blue's brothers" comment, and just stuff like Aaron's dancing and Anton's nominations. Those are just off the top of my head, and the Aaron/Wolfpack rivalry was actually entertaining and not really that serious, better than these bitchy, gossiping nomination cliques that are forming

And Arron's likeable because he's not actually taking anything that seriously unlike Lydia, Deana etc. who just spend the whole time moaning and plotting

Cynical
20-06-2012, 09:51 AM
My interest in the show has been getting smaller and smaller since the Chris eviction. Although Chris wasn't a particularly great bloke - he was a great housemate. He also gave everyone something to talk about, other than nominations. I've been a fan of the show right from season 1, episode 1. However, for the first time since then, i don't really go out of my way to watch it.

I find most of the housemates, and their plotting and scheming regarding nominations, really boring. Strategy is okay to a certain extent, but when the whole highlights show is dominated by talk of who to vote for, big brother needs to step in and take some action. I'd be amazed if the show isn't losing viewers from the start of the series.

Think i'd spice it up by firstly banning housemates from discussing nominations, have a double/triple eviction whilst trying to rig one nominations round so that the whole house is up (they seriously need to get rid of some deadwood) and then i'd think about adding in a "controversial" housemate in a similar mould to Chris. Too many total bores like Conor, Ashleigh, Sara, both Luke's are still in.

Fine at the moment, I just want harsher tasks and a bit of fun between the housemates. BB not doing much is great but at the same time I wish BB made things to force them together. I have stopped watching after Chris left, mostly due to lack of time. I agree with most of your points. Aaron vs Anton was classic tv as was the various attempts at sabotaging the tasks, Aden's crying/rapping, the whole Aaron and Maisy incident.
