i hope Ben stays too. I think he's full of sheet with his whole "i'm on a mission to educate the UK about sex" thing, but i still think he's a good housemate.

Don't really see what's 'comic' about him. He came across as dull as anything lastnight, it was Caroline who made it funny. I don't think I could stand a summer of Benedick and his educating the masses crap.

Yea,the "masturbation messiah" must be saved-hes rapidly becoming my favourite.Though she didnt nominate them Lydia attempted to throw him and lauren under the bus with her mock outrage, all to deflect attention from herself.Bennedicts is clearly going a bit nuts by trying to turn a tommy tank in the showers into one of the 21st centuries greatest political statements.Who knows what other misguided crusades he may embark on if kept in.

Funny in a laugh at kind of way, or someone it's quite funny to see have the piss taken out of them because of how serious and worked up he was getting

It seemed to make him somehow more self-righteous to me. He just seemed to use it to drill the point home to himself of how great he is and how the "yoof" of Britain need educating.

It's seems pretty obvious to me that Lauren is just one of those people that needs to be liked by everybody. It is killing her that Ashleigh and Sara don't like her for whatever twisted reason. Her anguish and confusion over the situation looked perfectly genuine to me.
She puts most of her energy into being bubbly and having fun and spreads her amongst all the housemates.

Everyone else's conversations are so stimulating, aren't they. All they talk about is nominations and who doesn't like who. They're one of the most boring bunch of people they've ever had in there in my opinion.
And if Benedict has done nothing else, he's brought out the prudes in their droves.
Kizzy

I think the noms talk should stop,it has the potential to ruin the series I feel. With regard to the nominated HM's benedict is in my view the one to leave. His views are not representative of the house or indeed the country, we are not supressed, repressed or prudish in any way anymore.
Thankyou Sir, but no thank you ...

He's not actually bonkers. He only appears bonkers to most of the British audience and hms because they couldn't handle it because of their childishness and prudishness.
And his outburst in the diary room wasn't bonkers either. IT was spot on and those he targeted with it he was spot on about.
However, that doesn't mean he must stay. Unfortunately someone has to go. And he has to go to save Lauren.
Because the true evil that has been done in the nominations, is that she who has done nothing wrong has been viciously lied about and plotted against from the beginning
because of jealousy but also because she is a good person
and she is being punished for being a good person
because it embarrasses the filth IE Caroline etc to be around her
because it reminds them how they are not nearly as good a person as her.
So for the reasons of justice that someone should not be punished for being good because they embarrass those that are not; Lauren has to stay.
People are wrong that she won't target them now. Anyone who saw her look across at Caroline just after the nom results were revealed saw she was really pissed.
And she was agreeing with Lydia and Deanna who said that they needed to target the weakest members of that group now.
So Lauren is going to use the anger if the right thing is done
and she is saved and target them
because she now knows it's necessary
and you can only defeat filth like that by standing up to them
you can't let them walk over you.

The Daily Star
BIG Brother’s shower-shock porn star Benedict *Garrett is facing a DOUBLE eviction.
He is in line to get the boot from the show – and also his real home for not paying the rent.
Ex-teacher Benedict, 32, moved into a house in *Oldham just before the hit Channel 5 show started.
His first rent cheque for £500 was due last week but as he is in the Big Brother house it did not get sent.
Now Benedict, who shocked housemates *after he admitted *pleasuring himself in the Big Brother house shower, risks being thrown out.
When his landlady Anne Richardson went in search of her money she was shocked to find the three- bedroom terrace empty – and Benedict on TV.
Furious Anne said: “I didn’t realise the ‘Benedict’ in my house was the one on Big Brother until I did some probing.
“He never told me he might vacate the place for the show.
“And he never told me he was a porn star either. That never came up on his credit checks.
“He was meant to set up a standing order to pay the rent and he hasn’t.
“Maybe in all the *excitement of going into Big Brother he just forgot.
“I am trying to find his next of kin because I want my money.
“If he stays in Big Brother until the end then he will be there until August – and I am not waiting that long.”
She might not have to, as only a miracle now looks like saving Benedict from the Big Brother boot.
He and Jersey lass Lauren Carre, 20, have been *nominated for eviction on Friday but bookies make him favourite to go.
Coral have him at 1-6 to be the third person evicted from the Big Brother house, with Lauren at 7-2.
Gary Burton, Coral spokesman, said: “Until the shower ‘incident’ Benedict was a favourite to win.
‘‘But since owning up to the crime he has drifted from a 6-1 second favourite to a no-hoper, and has not *attracted a single bet.”
Caroline is now 5-1 to win the show outright, with Adam at 7-1 and Luke S and Shievonne at 8-1.

I thought Benedict would go a lot further in the show before he was up for eviction. But now that he is up against Lauren, I would prefer him to go.
And the way he lectured to get his point across, I don't think that helped him with the viewers, so unless Lauren messes up drastically, she's safe.

I can't imagine why people are getting riled up about and indignant about Benedict. I mean, everything he said is true. The British are ridiculously coy about discussing sex (generally) and kind of repressed when it comes to being open about it. We also DO have really high rates of teenage pregnancy and STIs. Yet some people are still being ridiculously prudish about what he said and what he did.

benedict is boring as hell. the wank issue is the only thing he has done all show so far. lauren may be boring too but atleast she'll cause a little more drama with her crying BS and the girls disliking her. if benedict doesn't go this week he'll do nothing for the rest of the show and coast to the finale. if lauren is around she'll be another bore that will end up picked off likely next week and keep another big character from getting booted sooner.

It wasn't about him wanking, it was about them not wanting to discuss it & giggling like silly little girls at the mention of "masturbation"...
He was trying to get the point across that in this country we don't like to talk about sexual things, we find it embarrassing & taboo. He linked that to the fact that the UK has the highest rates of teenage pregnancy & STI's in Europe (all true) & mentioned how other countries are far more open about such things etc...
I'm surprised that so many missed this point, infact on Digital Spy some ridiculous posters were even trying to suggest that by talking to Caroline about it he was subjecting her to a form of sexual assault!! Unbelievable...
