Yeah but the punishments will have to be different and after already a rule break a greater example will have to be made of further rule breakers after that.
They cannot just keep stopping giving them hot water. A first rule break by housemate/s got a token punishment, further ones after that by them or others will need to get more severe.

Luke S hasn't talked about nominations since the rule change it was Caroline and Conor who lost them the hot water though.

I don't see it that way, I would have been more likely to see it more that way had they 'not' changed the talking about nominations rule, not being able to talk about noms is no real help to Lydia. It's been her thing from the first week.

They will also be well aware that she is not popular with the vast majority of the public watching so they will therefore get little revenue from people voting to save her.

Actually I wouldn't waste time with stopping water or any other token gesture, they have been told to in no way have any communication as to discussing nominations now, for me any housemate that does should be automatically up for the eviction vote the next week for doing so.

Then it's equal punishment for all who break that rule.Other rule breaks could be dealt with as to the loss of water or something else.
