I think the producers need to stop looking for madmen and women to go in the house just look for people who are original as a lot of these housemates put it on to get in the house then go back to being themselves once inside, i am getting bored of it all now but never get rid of this board because you rock elz belz

BB will never be axed...remember thats what they said after the emma/victor thing in bb5.endemol and channel 4 make too much money out of it.i feel that the only way to keep it secret would be to bring in quiter house mates,or better sound -proofing. they only found out because of jayne and her loudness and nikki,(yuk!),and her OTT screaming.they are the ones who confirmed it for the secret housemates.all the rest was pure spectulation.

Same story was in the Daily Star.

However...

Monday's ratings were the highest for the nightly show so far.

From the Guardian's 'Media Monkey' column...

"Big Bro crisis talks", says the front page of today's Daily Star. Whaat? "Last night one insider said the Channel 4 show could even be axed after this series ends." Crikey, serious stuff. "Full story: pages 12 & 13." Rustle, rustle (that's the noise of Monkey turning to pages 12 and 13). But it turns out the crisis is that the housemates have discovered there is a "secret" room of housemates next door. Sure, a bit of a pain for the producers, but a crisis?

Hmm, Monkey's man at the Big Brother house isn't so sure. And with more than 5 million viewers last night, it is one crisis that ITV would love to have on its hands. Could it have anything to do with the fact that when the Daily Star put the words "Big Brother" and "fix" on its front page a couple of weeks back, sales went through the roof? Let's hope "Big Brother" and "crisis" has the same effect.

C4 denies axe hangs over BB

Big Brother executives are plotting creative changes to the 'surprise' plot twist foiled by housemates this week – but, contrary to reports, there have been no discussions about axing the Channel 4 show.

Big Brother is C4's highest rated show. They won't axe it so long as that remains the case.

I doubt that is true. If the producers still have loads of viewers and are still getting lots of money why should they axe the show

the real test of big brother is how much profit they get from advertising and phone lines...........nothing to do with number of viewers or what actually happens in the show.

Lisas eviction got 6million viewers
How many TV shows get that for a normal show?

It is about time this tired old format was put out to grass.

They promised to do that after BB2

I am still waiting for them to keep their word.
