When you see people like reflecting on how good the 70s and 80s were, and just decades in general.

Like the disco vibe the 70s had, the music and style of the 80s, the dance/trance sort of sh*t the 90s had along with the weird devices and toys etc

So yeah you get people talking about how good those decades were. But what about The Noughties? (2000-2009) Do you reckon in a few years people are going to make comments about music 'back then' and the phases and trends we all had etc?

Because each decade changed completely from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s - and this decade seems very similar to the 00's, but obviously not much would change in 3 Years, right?
But still.

Up to 2007 they were probably okish. But then you had the smoking ban, beers really and expensive and pubs generally dying. Music wasn't all either, we only one or two bands that made a proper cultural impact. Where as in the 70's, 80's and 90's they were popping up every week.

To me the noughties = talking about the environment whilst showing off your iPod and going to watch a comic book movie. In Ted Hardy clothes and whilst trying to ignore Paris Hilton

Obviously there will be comments made on trends and phases that happened in the 00s, but I don't see that happen for a while yet.

I liked the 00s. Most of the bands and artists I love gained fame in that decade and all that.
