Straightforward poll, should he have been kicked out?
Massive yes from me. Never mind telling him off in the DR. His attitude was still the same when he came out.

Yes. I was really shocked that he got off so lightly. Similarly, Arron.

Without a shadow of a doubt.
Saying you want to knock a harmless female out and shove stuff up her private areas doesn't go down well with me, a disgusting, horrible person.

What a revolting person he is.
But not to worry it seems it's ok to speak about some one else in that way because he was feeling angry.
So we can all sleep comfy tonight now.

Are you actually serious or just stirring the pot?
To anyone who says no, just one thought. How would you feel if a male said those things to your sister, or female friend for example.

No dont be so wet.
The guys a prick but you cant start throwing people out for that or people will be scared to say what they are really thinking and the show would suffer for it.
Jordan.
25-06-2012, 09:24 PM
Well they've kicked people out for less than threatening to beat a woman.

I think had he been threatening to her directly, then he should have been, I think he was out of order with his tone and content of what he said was unacceptable behaviour.
However,he isn't the first to be really nasty as to female housemates, John James thrived on it in his year and never got chucked out or really reprimanded for it either.
Jay last year made similar threats as to Aaron,he didn't get chucked out either.
BB series are littered with instances like this.
I do think Conor should be on a final warning as to conduct after it though as to any more unacceptable behaviour.

People say dumb stuff in the heat of the moment, I'm not defending it but Jay and Tom didn't get kicked out last year for threatening violence and I don't think Conor should be yet, it's fair to give him a warning this time

I agree, he should be given a warning, disgusting as his behavior was he may regret it when he wakes up in the morning.

I believe what he said should have been replayed to the house. He got off ridiculously lightly. I think this is easily the worst set of housemates (as people) that big brother has ever had. Unfortunately, i can only see the bullying continue as the "cool gang" are picking off the rest of the house one by one...
Yes, and this is coming from someone who said Conor was their favorite earlier today.

No, obviously you wouldn't be happy about it, but people get aggressive at times, it happens. He didn't act on it, and he wouldn't have either, he just got carried away in the moment. He was a dickhead and deserved to be punished, and he did get a warning, so if he does anything similar again then fair enough, but he shouldn't be removed just on that one slip up. And as MTVN said, Jay and Tom done it last year and didn't get removed.

I voted no, even though I thought what he said was disgusting, and I hate his guts. He should have been punished, like not being allowed to nominate or had his luxury items confiscated.

If people who threatened violence were ejected we would have on average 3 ejections a season

Yuk! Disturbing! Threatening sexual violence to express anger is off. It's very troubling when you put it into context.
If Deena had made sexually threatening comments in exactly the same situation would those offering excuses for Connor be able to do the same for her ?

Yes not only is he boring but comments that his made about both Benedict and Deana is disgusting.

You make a fair logical case in Conor's defence and I can see sense in it, if I consider it with my head over my heart. If he'd shown signs that he knew how bad his words were, I'd be less up in arms, but he didn't and it seems people feel strongly that he's had it in for Deana from the start and to be fair he's not the only one. Arron is just as guilty and it was one sided for just Conor to be spoken to. (Arron called her a prick).
Maybe he'll wind his neck in now and there won't be a repeat of this behaviour, I'm not convinced, but if I'm wrong then fair play.
And yes, BB let Jay off the hook in similar circumstances last year, which puts them in the wrong again. They really should learn.

I didn't like Jay Mckray last year but even he didn't make comments that Conor has made.

I thought about it a bit, I think he should be thrown out. Violent threats should not be tolerated it sends out a message to society that it is somehow acceptable and it is not. No woman should ever have to put up with that kind of treatment.

Normally I would say NO but after his reaction (or lack of) I think he does deserve to be thrown out.

I think they should have kicked him out, its annoying that all he got was a warning, and at that Conor didn't really care about the warning, he just brushed it off.
Been dissapointed with the treatment that Deana is receiving atm, it's ashame that bullying is going on in such an environment. The fact that theirs been bullying for me ruins the show!

^ This - I agree with everything you said. His punishment was ridiculously light, and he didnt even seem truely remorseful.
Perhaps we should rename this group the "untouchables"

He would not get away with that on the outsde, the BB house should be no different. He is a violent bully. It's funny what makes Caroline say "How inappropriate" yet she sat there encouraging the bullying and later hide the epilator "for a laugh".
