Pull the plug BB

I do like BB but I hope they pull the plug on this show as the backlash from Conor's comments are bordering on hysteria,BB KNOW what he has done ,it is their show and will run it as they see fit ,IMO Conor should have been thrown out,he wasnt,I am sure BB will get their own back and the backlash is only made worse because people wanted Lydia and Deanas nominations quashed,THAT is the main reason for most of it,there is an alterior motive for the 'outrage' I wonder if it would have been so hysterical if any of the others had been up,my guess is no.BB may well look at all this and wonder if it is really worth their while,from what I have seen it,s not ratings are low and people get so outraged when things don't go their way,the best way they should have done it is leave the noms as they are and show Conor the back door,this is just my opinion an the show which up until now had been ok,Jay was angry last year and did some gross stuff but he remained.

Very silly thread, none of us want to see the show get axed again but what we do want is for Big Brother to remove Conor from the house and put the whole house or the group that discussed nominations in code up for eviction. What Conor said was completely appalling and he should be removed for it, people have been removed in the past for much less worse offenses and that's why everyone is so angry about this.

It,s not the housemates that are the problem it,s the sycophantic fans,I am sure BB will deal with Conor in their own way,they do not have to be bombarded with 'ideas' of what to do,they have warned him and as soon as he gets out of hand again I am sure he will be dealt with.

I have not watched a second of this hour here and there BB, and won't be doing so, not even missing it to be truthful, mostly in my own way as a protest against no Live feed, the essence of BB for me if they want my voting money, no seey much house goings on, no getty my money :D However, I do still love reading the posts on this section of the forum for the most part when BB is on .

There have always been goings on that BB let slip by or favour highlights as regards certain housemates, I am sure past BBs may even have been worse, but because we only see/read what is in the here and now and probably not get the whole picture aanyway, only a skewwiffed what BB wants us to believe edited one, this year is now proclaimed the worst re treatment of certain housemates. I am sure next year's or the next CBB will then be proclaimed the worst for bias.

I agree the over reaction on forums is way over the top. The housemates won't care that money is being spent on them to keep them in or any complaints that are made, and neither will BB, so can't see why the over reactions over a TV show? There is always that off button.

You are spot on there some of the "i am deeply offended" squad were already talking ofcom and petitions earlier in the day just because the nominations didnt go their way and the rest of the kids just jumped on the bandwagon after the evenings fun.

Personally I think the producers will be glad of the controversy. Has people who dont usually watch the show talking/watching it (4 of my friends, I discovered last night, anyway... theres gotta be more out there :joker: )

I have barely watched any of this series since launch (had a lot of work + a holiday :D ) so I'm not really in a position to say much about it, but for years people complained that BB was too PC etc etc, and now is not and people are still complaining. Reality TV will show the bad sides of people as well as the good...some people are utterly vile...but thats life unfortunately.

I don't want the plug pulled on BB kazanne, I see it as like we are looking in a window on people and have no chance to do anything until the housemates put up other housemates for us to remove from the house by our votes.

As you point out, Jay got away with loads last year ,threatening violence to Aaron and in BB11 John James was revolting to the female housemates, humiliating them every chance he got, even manhandling against her wishes, Sunshine,when he dragged her to the pool for throwing water on him.
She went to the diary room with red marks on her arms where he had gripped her tight and refused to let her go even when she yelled to be free.
He never got evicted either by BB.

Never would I want Big Brother to be axed, although there will be a time when it does again, that's how TV works, but I don't think there is a need for mass hysteria like this, yes Conor is a ******* and yes, I do want him removed, will he? No.

I totally agree with the comments on this thread. The over reactions are unbelievable. Both Connor and Deana have been spoken to by BB. Whilst Connors words and actions were dreadful people seem to forget that this is a gameshow and after 12 BB's before I am sure that every housemate is well aware what they are getting themselves into and how to play the game. People forget that we are only seeing around 45 minutes of edited highlights per day. Deana is not well liked by any of the housemates in there so there must be an underlying reason for this. People always side with a victim. Maybe Deana is the one playing a good game. I genuinely don't think she is as innocent as she makes out. She has proved she can stand her ground on many an occasion. Like I say it still doesn't justify how Connor has treated her but people are totally overreacting.
