Well it's clear that it was a balls up by Glyn and he won't be doing it again. I think people were more shocked that it was Glyn and not someone else that nominated him.

Glyn often nominates for minor slights and now he nows the reason why Pete has withdrawn from him, he feels bad.

As for nominating Pete, it's the name of the game and can you think of a better way to throw away a vote if you weren't sure who to nominate. Not many people are going to nominate Pete I think that may have been his first.
