How was it so easy that BB had Scott and others acting like sheep ?

Just wondered.It was very easy for BB to get the housemates including Scott who did a very funny bleating sound acting like sheep and obeying them
instantly even though they didn't really do a proper job at trying to hypnotize them.

So how did BB manage to do that to them all so easily ?

I don't really think they were all acting were they ?

They were not trying to hypnotize them. It was all an act on the hm's part as they were told to act in certain ways to try and make Scott think that they were. He just went along with the sheep part as he must have guessed he had to do so to pass the task.

It was a test on conformity.

Basically the theory is, if you're surrounded by others and everyone but you is behaving a certain way you will copy what they do to not seem abnormal even if you don't necessarily agree with the behaviour.

What Big Brother did was tell all the housemates to act in the hypnotism task. They had ear pieces etc. Scott however, didn't have an ear piece and was unaware that others did. So he conformed because he didn't want to be the only one not to react to the hypnotism.

You know that task tells us allot about Scott. I love the psychological experiments, I hope for more task like them!
