What are the best ones you've noticed? Facts that don't add up, on screen goofs (like that startrooper thing in star wars hitting his head), cameras being visible in movies?

I was shocked to find how many there were in Shawshank http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111161/trivia?tab=gf

I love goofs  I notice more for TV shows than movies but I've seen "greatest movie mistakes" on BBC3 at least a dozen times. Typically I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

I remember the one from 3 men and a baby, there was a rumour going round for years that there was a ghost of a boy who'd committed suicide with a shot gun in the house it was filmed in, in one of the scenes behind the curtains...............turns out it was a cardboard cut out

that BBC3 thing with Robert Webb was one of the most boring hours of my life. I don't see the enjoyment in seeing some microphone in the background or something equally insignificant.

Yeah, most times I couldn't even see what he was talking about

I find the actual goofs interesting though, all that money and time spent on something for them to get something wrong

There was one in the news recently about them getting the night sky wrong in titanic when Jack dies, some astronomist wrote to James Cameron about how the sky wouldn't be full of stars at the time the scene was meant to be set lul

I don't mind spotting mistakes in movies and noticing reflections of camera crews and stuff is funny. But dedicating an entire TV show to pointing out how someone's arm is in a different position in different shots really takes the biscuit.

That show was one of those shows where it sounds like a better idea than it actually turns out to be.
