This series is hard to watch

In the past there have been HM,s that made me cringe and HM,s that made me mad, but there were always HM,s that made me laugh and were worth following because I liked them. This series is weird, I really dont want any of them to win. They all seem really nasty or undeserving on many levels.

My wife asked me who my fav was and I said Adam. She looked at me and said why, and honestly the best thing I could come up with was he hasnt given me any reason to hate or dislike him.

The fun and stupidity seems to have gone and been replaced by hatred and disgusting filth. I blame the CH5 production team.

yea i agree. last night i was watching and thinking i might have to stop watching as i really dont like these people and ive never hated so many ever.
got me thinking deana adam luke a lauren maybe i only like them cause thats all there is to like.
saw clips of last years bb on bit on the side so much better. ncie people , people to root for and lots of humour

I agree. It has been very uncomfortable to watch because the nastiness is at fever pitch and is being maintained at that level. BB need to put the whole house up for eviction to clear some of the nasty dross out.

Yeah I don't really actually like any of the ones left in there (Arron's the best of a bad bunch), the series has just been relying on arguments and drama for it's entertainment value really, which I don't mind some of but I don't like the series to revolve around it either, prefer it to be balanced out with more light-hearted, funny moments

lol. alex suprised me she was a nice person but she really hated this group of people. emma and the other girl looked very uncomfortable i think they expected the usual happy all is good alex.

becky did not get a warm reception and has not been a major target yet as they have had bigger fish to fry and put up
nominations is a dirty game and as always been this year you got to see on camera rather than in previous years it was done in a corner or in code

this year is a by product of last year we saw people playing dirty to win and aaron won by playing dirty so the housemates in there are not affraid to play dirty

A new HM wont help. What they need is for their minds preoccupying with things to do like competitions, work and a feeling of competativness will take over. BB is killing this series by letting them run the storylines. They have not been told to clean the house yet, they have never been put under pressure to act like a team, they have had really easy games and party all the time, they get away with disgusting things, they allow the devide to determine alliances and the real players are sitting back watching the weak and vocal fall by the wayside.

If bb dont whip it up and punish them soon, it will be left with a bunch of dullards and an Aaron type winner will take the spois yet again.

The prod team are turning it into a borefest again. FFS cant they see it.

I don't mind them being manipulative and playing the game but at least also have some personality and have some fun. Although Aaron did play the game last year he was funny and interesting to watch. None of this year's HMs are as fun or interesting to watch as most of last year's HMs were.

I haven't watched for the last three nights now.
I don't find anything about the show enjoyable to watch anymore. Channel 5 have just let the whole concept of Big Brother fall apart.
There's no consequences for any of the rule breaking other than pathetic things like removing hair dryers and stopping alcohol for a few days.

I really can't fathom what the people in charge are thinking any more and unless something seriously turns around in there i won't be switching back on this year.

I honestly don't believe that will be the case. I think one of the underdogs will take it, most likely being either Deana, Luke A, or Lauren. Sooner or later one of these three will be put up against one of the "nasty" HM's and, as I mentioned before, people love rooting for the underdog.

I agree with the rest though, I find it hard to watch and find myself doing a fast forward through the show just to bits with Deana/Lydia/LukeA/Lauren. I'd really like to see Deana take the win.

I do understand that some people find it hard to watch, but I absolutely love it. I only like 2-3 housemates, but that's fine as long as I enjoy the show.

Some people will never be happy with the show. I still think there's an air of snobbery surrounding BB on 5 sadly, some people are not even willing to give it a chance because of the channel it's on. This has been the best series in years. Much better than last year's dire series as well.

It's more the general public who I'm on about. I've seen a lot of posts on Twitter saying things like "BB on Channel 4 was so much better" which is fair enough to think that but a lot of those people aren't even willing to give it a chance because it's now on Channel 5 and it's a shame.

With the forum people I'm seeing the same reasoning "it's too miserable/nasty" but to be honest a lot of these same people were the ones championing a series of gameplay and arguments and now we've got it they're complaining about it? Yes, these housemates are ruthless but I'd rather watch this than a house full of people treading on eggshells around each other and generally getting along. That's boring TV.

It's a fairly good series so far, but some of the best characters have left already unfortunately.

Bar BB5-BB7 it's never been particularly good, so people need to take off their rose-tinted spectacles. Sure, it's been good since then (BB9 and BB10 in particular were good) but we've never had that consistent level of quality, i.e. great series after great series. What we have now is mediocre-dire series, followed by good-excellent ones. Right now it's at a decent level, bar all that stuff with Conor.

I will give it a while to see if they put new HMs in. If not then there is no point watching.

Unfortunately BB are the architects of their own downfall so far. If they step it up and take control, it could salvage things otherwise they will loose big names every week till we are left with dullard gameplayers like caroline and bonehead Scott.

I see there are 3 major things they can do.

1. Get them on basic rations by giving them a task that they will fail.
2. Start applying the rules with harsh punishments that effect the others.
3. Make them work at winning, bedroom closed all day, no snoozing on the sofas, no swearing between the hours of ? and ? just so we can get some punishments going, nobody leaves the bedroom without making their beds, mandatory chores,

IN SHORT TAKE THEM TO BOOT CAMP AND GIVE EM HELL.

They are giving our youth a bad impression showing all you have to do to win £100,000 is to swear, abuse women, be racist, be homophobic, be disgusting and laugh at everyone that dosent agree with you.

I think people are waaayyy over reacting. There have been parts of other series that have been way more negative and bitchy. Like much of BB6, many parts of BB9 (like when Nicole and Alexandra were there), the beginning of BB7, etc. I highly doubt the whole series is going to be like this. Every time someone leaves, the dynamic will change and evolve and the cliques will be broken.

I guess there's no pleasing everybody. Everyone seems to want something different out of BB.

I thought the last two series were lacking incredibly in arguments and drama, it was all showmances, so this series is quite refreshing to me.

I love arguments and bitchiness. BB6 is my favorite series because despite all of them being total assholes they were all still hilarious and endearing. This year the majority of the housemates are just plain nasty, horrible people, and I don't find them funny or entertaining in the slightest. The only characters who have made me want to watch this year have been Benedict, Lydia, Chris, and Victoria, so I'm really not that interested in this series at all anymore.
