She basically wants to manipulate the house so they don't nominate her

Lydia just wants to stay in the house and knows that as it stands, whoever stays out of her and Deana will be up again next week. She's thinking ahead. Bright girl.

I only want Deena out. I like Lydia. She could be the one to bring Team Towie down! :dance2:

she isnt saying bring them down though, she's saying the opposite which blows her chances.
deana has more chance of bringing them down asshe forces them to reveal their true colours. lydia keeps failing i find it bizzarr, but she dont care about anyone which i think is why. she shoots her allies. like gunging sara that was a bad move

We have to keep Lydia in... but she has to be very clever but I dont think she is smart enough although she has the capabilities. However she is more capable of Deana...so if anyone can do it she can....KEEP LYDIA IN PLEASE. I dislike her but she has so much to give entertainment wise.

Exactly, you cant take what people are saying at face value, you have to delve into the meaning of what they are saying and why they are saying it particularly with a HM like Lyds, its a tactic to get the public to vote her in....let this be the year we do not throw all the good HMs out with the bathwater...keep Lydia in, Benedict going was bad enough...what have we seen from Lauren this week...nothing....

Not sure on that one Vanessa, even last night on the highlights Luke A said he couldn't work Lydia out and Adam agreed, although he and Adam appear to listen to her, there seems no trust in what she does or says now.
I think too that just about all the housemates, even Deana says Lydia is 2 faced too, have the measure of Lydia and they are more likely to band stronger against her than for her.
The only thing that may help her is, if she stays, then she will have won 2eviction battles. I don't think though any other housemate now is likely to take on board anything she says, they have seen and heard so much plotting and scheming by her.
They will listen to her and talk to her but just largely ignore what she says in the main, likely telling the others that she is scheming again.
Also, not being able to talk about nominations she is going to be likely handicapped in how far she can take things anyway.
I still think she will be up for eviction next week if she stays for sure.

I think she's a much better housemate that Deena. I hope she survives. I want to see what she does next! :p

I think if she stays, she will try to get Sara on board, however after Sara's gunging and then Lydia's speech to her with Sara giving only token acknowledge of it saying she didn't need to apologise but looking away from her, I don't rate her chances there at all.
Not only did she put Sara in the firing line though, she lost 20 points for the task too, the 10 she would have got for choosing a right person that nominated her and the 10 points deducted for choosing the wrong one.
Those things will not have gone unnoticed by the others I would guess.

She needs to get her own group organised or Team Towie will get them up one by one!

a very mad move that was , people here over rate lydia she fails everytime. she alienates people who could be her allies. she has none left now. if she stays she's on her own really.

Why on earth do people think Lydia is the saviour of this show?some people really feeding her ego,the show is bigger than her and if she goes Friday somebody else will cause bother, personally I am sick to the back teeth of this sanctimonious, deluded woman.she really thinks she has all the answers,I cannot get past the way she has spoken about Deana behind her back, the house don't like her ,I get that some think she is entertaining,I like entertaining but not at the expense of her 'pretend' friends, imo she is so desperate to win.

Yeah she's not as clever as she's given credit for, it was stupid to gunge Sara who'll now turn against her and it makes her seem quite selfish for doing it and not caring about losing points when people like Lauren and Luke A have given up the chance to speak to their sister/wife to get points for the team

Lydia only want to unite the group cuz she's up for eviction and knows its the other group who have put her up. Her motives are deplorable but I do like her attitude at times.
