I know what Spam is, specifically.

However I.wanted to ask if a forum member repeatedly posting thread after thread on the same subject with various titles, saying the same stuff ad nauseum, counts as Spamming?

It feels like a certain opinion is being rammed down the forums throat at the moment, there's a dozen or so threads to illustrate this. Incidentally, I agree with the posters original opinion I must say, but its been done to death now and people are getting peed off.

Yeah I would take that to be spam I mentioned it last night in the BB section, also forum members constantly posting off topic non constructive posts in a thread I would also say was spam too.

I think the threads should be merged together. They're all about Connor in some way. :suspect:

New rule: 1 week ban for anyone that starts a new topic on anything to do with Conor bullying Deana

Yeah in some way, there are different opinions on different things in some of them so I'm not going to merge all of them together.

We will keep an eye on the spam though.

I don't like those threads. Too many arguments in them. :(

The best thing would be to stay out of those threads then if you don't enjoy heated debates.

Also I had a look and it seems to have calmed down in there I can only see 3 threads about Conor/Deanagate on the first page.

And just to add, it has been the biggest "scandal" Big Brothers had so far so alot of threads about it should be expected really.

I like a debate, but a few posters are resorting to name calling and personal insults. It's just not very nice. I'm gong to ignore them from now on. :)

...I hardly think Conor joking about punching Deana - is a bigger scandal than the 2007 Race Row, or even 2008's Spit Gate TBH  but okay.

if people want to talk about Conor and Deana let them get on with it, it must not be forgotten that 'this is big brother.com', and it's only purpose is to discuss Big Brother. Everything else is a side show imo

I agree. It is annoying to see threads over and over again that are posted with the sole purpose of trying to ram your opinions down peoples throats for your own gratification. There's just no need. Say what you need to say, and then let others make up their own minds. There is no need to try and dictate to others.

No. They provide a deep psychoanalysis of Cunning Caroline and her plans for house domination.
