BIG Brother babe Deana Uppal has sparked a furious sex-swap row after pretending she was born a man.

The self-styled Indian princess decided to lighten the mood in the house by playing a prank on Becky Hannon.

Deana, 23, told her she used to be a fella and has had an operation to remove her manhood.

But it proved a major gaffe as Luke Anderson, 31, who was born a woman, blasted her for being insensitive.

Deana told Becky, 19: “I used to be a man. I thought you knew. Thought you’d read up on me. I don’t want to make you uncomfortable, I thought you knew.”

Becky wasted no time telling housemates, including Luke, the gossip.

She ran into the bedroom and said: “Deana just told me she’s a full-on man. She has had surgery and everything.”

Luke, who is still making the transformation from a woman to a man, was left speechless at first and then erupted with rage.

Confronting Deana, he stormed: “Why are you *******ing joking about something like that? It’s not funny. Don’t you think it’s a little bit insensitive?

“You could have picked anything but that. I find it hard.”

He added: “It’s not funny to me, it’s really close to home for me.”

Deana quickly tried to backtrack telling him: “Oh no! Please don’t be offended. Please don’t be insulted. It was just a prank.”

Big Brother was last night monitoring the explosive situation.

Well, that is likely why he got them told early on because he is sensitive about it and hoped to avoid difficult situations like this occurring.

Not a question of her needing to walk on eggshells just have and show plain simple decency and respect for someone who has already revealed he is in the process of changing.

Had he not told them all or not told Deana then she could have pleaded not knowing, she knew though how hard it was for him to reveal it and should have respected his dignity as to it and avoided any prank or off the cuff comment as to the topic.

There are no definates laid down for the sex of a person outside their hormonal structure and body makeup. We all know certain people are trapped inside the wrong body but unless the law has changed, I am still unconvinced people like Luke that are middway a lifestyle change have earned the right to be one or the other no matter what they insist on. Sure we go along with it and I have observed that on here but comments like what you are making are profoundly clear with no discussions and it does nobody any good let alone others that are trying their best to become accepted by society after taking a huge leap to better themselves. I am entitled to my opinion as you are but I personally cant see that Luke has convinced me for one let alone himself.

I agree some people reacted way OTT to the Conor incident by trying to contact sponsors and filing complaints. But it was still a horrific thing, and something that is in no way comparable to was Deana "allegedly" did. Conor's were of violent and malicious nature towards someone he despised, Deana's situation was an insensitive joke that got around to the rest of the house due to a loud mouth gossiper. Not even remotely comparable.

And again, this is "assuming" that it's even true. How would a paper know stuff like this? Do they have spies lurking in the corners of the house to catch every thing that happens?

What I am trying to get through is that we that were raised in a different enviroment shouldnt be lampooned or critisised for having an out dated opinion. Put a 16 yr old and an old fart like me in a room to debate and we will be miles apart but that dosent mean either persons views are wrong.
