View Full Version : Adam breaking one of Big Brother's Biggest Rules.

Patrick

In last night's Highlight show - on two occasions in the Diary Room, and outside in the garden.

'Forbidden Item #14' as seen on the Big Brother UK Rules (http://bigbrotheruk-s2.channel5.com/article/text/Packing-for-Big-Brother-the-prohibited-items/) - clearly states that 'Chewing Gum' is illegal in the Big Brother house.

Why on earth was Adam allowed to chew it? So frustrating listening to him smacking it, against his microphone. :bored:

It's also like the cheek of him doing it in the Diary Room, that's kinda like going up to your teacher and getting your dick out.

Why was he allowed to bring it in if it's against the rules?

They're not allowed to take gum into the house, it does not state when in the house, the housemate cannot buy chewing gum off the shopping list and then chew it...So Adam has not broken any rules :)

Perhaps it was just bubble gum

Your banned from chewing gum in the house? Why?

No wonder The Daily Mail sells so many copies. now members of the general public are inventing scare stories.
Are you sure that chewing gum doesn't cause cancer or, worse, lower house prices.

By the way, your analogy is quite ridiculous.

There's nothing worse than sloppy gum-chewers smacking their gums together ..... :yuk: - and if it's amplified .....

All gum-chewing HMs should be stripped, pilloried and flogged then ejected in the dead of night ..... :hmph:

Isn't chewing gum allowed? They always used to have it on evictions, Charley BB8 and Lesley BB6 were chewing gum whilst walking out the eviction doors!

Nicotine gum, obviously.

Jamie.
28-06-2012, 06:43 PM
I think they have a ban on it incase a housemate decides to stick it to something in the house, or choking on it.

Urban Cragou
28-06-2012, 06:46 PM
Yes, because the rest of the housemates abide by all the rules and don't verbally abuse other members.

Is it a recent thing? Because I've rewatched parts of BB7 and they were allowed to chew gum. Suzie said they wern't going to get it off the shopping list because it was being put on the floor, maybe that's why they've banned it.

Joe.

I'd say it's because they don't have their cigarettes. They've had something for the withdrawal symptoms.

Just to back patrick up though he is right it was brought in as a rule from bb2 onwards that gum was banned as it screwed with the mic's i think it was put on the shopping list one year at £20 a pack or something similar but since smoking became worse than the devil things seem to have changed.
