Like all males on here I should be disqualified from commenting on this issue.
I learned many years ago that women's attitude to weight is unfathomable to males.
I once worked in a place where each lunch hour a group of about a dozen women sat round a table to eat. They were a mixture of very thin, average and well over-weight.
The conversation frequently turned to diets during which thin ones would bemoan their weight in a way which seemed to me incredibly insensitive to the fat ones.
The latter came back each day for more and never raised any objections. Furthermore they joined in as though the thin ones' comments made any sort of sense.

Honestly though my intentions are purely for the girl's wellbeing. It's obvious me she is in two minds over her weight. Any one with that much weight at that young an age is to me dealing with various difficult emotions purely through comfort eating.
