A DISGUSTING video of a man eating a dead rabbit found by the side of the road has sparked controversy online.

The revolting web clip opens with "stunt eater" Louis Cole finding the roadkill on a country lane and explaining what he is about to do.

The 28-year-old Christian youth worker tells the camera: "We’ve been looking around and we’ve finally found a rabbit that is obviously fairly fresh.

"It doesn’t look like it’s decomposing yet, so I thought this could make a nice meal, a tasty snack."

Louis, who has previously shocked with videos of himself eating dead mice and scorpions, continues: “I hope this isn’t full of maggots or anything."

Picking up the brown rabbit's body, he tells the camera: "It's so squidgy."



And sickeningly, he even grins before biting into the side of the creature's limp corpse, reports The Sun.

The foul video has been watched over 200,000 times, with web users left feeling queasy by his vile meal.

One said: "This guy has serious problems. What a complete and utter idiot."

But incredibly, others actually praised Louis' disgusting antics, saying: "Wow! You are hardcore."

Some have questioned whether the rabbit is really roadkill, pointing out that it has no signs of injury - suggesting it was not killed by a car
