Do you feel safe walking at night alone where you live?

I live in a pretty dodgy area full to brim with scallies and chavs so I don't get up and have a night stroll whenever I feel like it but when I do I'm always all right. I've been jumped quite a number of times in other areas, though.

I guess I do. Nothing much happens where I live and no-one stays out that late at night anyway. I think Havering (where I live) has the lowest crime rate in London too so yeah.

Yeah I live in a tiny village that's pretty rural, I've often done quite long walks home at night and you barely ever encounter anyone else so it's alright, guess that can sometimes make it a bit creepier0 though

Yes. I used to live in a rough area but where I am now is pretty middle class. Although I felt safer in the rough area.

Maybe it would in some of the rougher areas in London, but otherwise I quite enjoy a night time stroll.

Yeah I live on the outskirts of town so its relatively rural and quiet.

There'd be very few people that would do me harm in my town plus I tend to stick to well lit and secured areas so I'd say yes. I wouldn't feel as safe further a field though.

i was thinking this the other day coz i remembered when some guy was like so close to beating me up and i just thought wow im in such a terrible mood at this moment in time if he tried that now i would gouge his eyes out and strange him with his own intestines

Yeah, walk my dog every night at about 2am and nearly always walk home after a night out. Loads of scumbags around here but the streets are always really quiet at night, worse in the daytime.

I wouldn't ever walk the streets after 9pm where I live.
There are a bunch of druggies who always live across the road from me, on the street and they stink of crap and start going "You got any money?" or "Oi, dickhead, gimme some money"

I never went outside at all in Birmingham apart from School, but where I live now is perfectly fine away from the drunks where I live.:hugesmile:
