I don't like how it's one rule for some HMs but another for the producers favs.

I agree, I think the punishments have been tame really and I have always thought in all series of BB that talking about nominations when told not to, should result in either being unable to nominate the next week or to be automatically up for eviction the next week.

Its so stupid that they keep punishing them with ridculous things...
Even the housemates laugh when they say the punishments...
Are you imagining in Monday if Big Brother puts them all up for eviction....their face would be so priceless!

Well they did ban Benedict from nominating at his first strike...this just comes to show how they have favourites though...

No they didn't. That was his penalty from that time bomb game. He lost nominating, Caroline had to eat a fish eye, etc.

it's really quite odd of them to allow nomination talk from Day 1 and then suddenly go strict against it...

I dont believe they really wanted to uplift the rule, seems like they felt pressured because it appeared a lot of the public wanted it reversed and members of production like Emma Willis were against it and it showed.

I don't like the idea of putting them up for eviction. I find it funny when they do, it causes arguments when it's played back.

When they break rules the power HMs have should be lost - unable to nominate, if it continues, stick em up! Its happened so much with weak punishments that BB looks like a laughing stock to them
I have this day dream. Monday morning they call them all out to the couches, tell them all to stand up. One by one, everyone who hasn't been caught yet talking noms is told to sit. At the end, they're told everyone still standing is up for the week, and the nomination process is now finished.

I wish BB would nominate those who talked about nom, it will create massive paranoia.
They need to bring back strikes
1,2,3 and you're out (or at least up for nomination)
