Good and I like him:), shame he was treated like crap by the big egos at Chelsea FC just because he did not suck up to 2 certain players.

He'll flop just like he did at Chelsea.
+ why would a load of rich people waste their money buying a club that everyone in the country bar about 300,000 people hate? :P

He had a higher Win % at Chelsea than Di Matteo, unbelievably. He'll do well at Spurs if he can keep hold of Modric, VDV, etc

Di Matteo won the games that mattered.

+ Modric is basically out the door already. Spurs need to sign a top striker if they're going to do well this season, but everyone will be reluctant to go to a club that A) doesn't have Champions League football, and B) is managed by AVB, who has the worst reputation in football at the moment.

Real Madrid are rumoured to be getting pissed off at Spurs high valuation. I suspect it is just them trying to keep him again, although it is a risk because why keep a player who is clearly unhappy there now and wants to move on?

He played so much worse last season than in 10/11 because he hated it there, hopefully if Spurs manage to keep him he'll play even worse next season :pipe:

Good appointment, imo. He stood up to the egos at Chelsea, and unfortunately, it got him the sack.

I think initially he'll struggle like at Chelsea, but he'll get much more time at Spurs and succeed eventually.
