Pooing in freezers aside, Jay had many redeeming qualities and you couldn't say he was a genuinely nasty person, he was just a bit rough around the edges lol.

I say this now because he's been compared with Conor and - apart from their size & the fact you couldn't understand what they were saying half the time - I just don't see it.

I was also watching back over last year's final, and something I'd noticed which I'd missed on the night, was that Aaron & Jay were both holding each other's hand while Brian announced the winner, something really heart-warming considering their disliking of each other - and something I could never see happening with Conor & say Deana for example.

Anyway here's the euphoric moment again: :spin:

Jay went after men instead of women, but their attitude was the same. What remains to be seen is which of the two is smarter. Jay took a hint and started keeping it to himself, or punching fixtures. Conor may not be in the house long enough to figure it out, but he also lost Arron sooner than Jay lost Anton, so without his sidekick he may stick to more plotting, less action.

I do see some similar traits in the two. But Jay was much more likeable than Conor is. Jay just had anger issues, and a lot of growing up to do surrounding bottomholes. Asides from that he wasnt too bad. Conor is an absolute twat, I see NO redememing qualities in him at all, the only good thing about him is his accent.

The only difference between them is that Jay threatened to kick someones head in towards the end of the series rather than near the beginning.

The thing that smoothed out the edges for Jay was his relationship with Lou. Without her he'd have been a massive **** just like Conor is.

I liked Jay, he was a lovable oaf and had some heart. Conor on the other hand hasnt showed much heart yet, still waiting to see a turning point.

I liked Jay, I admit he had his moments but he wasn't that bad and unlike Conor he didn't target women.

Jay's only 'BB crimes' seem to be that he had a vulgar sense of humour. I think the vilification he received, mainly from the Aaron sycophants, last year was OTT. Mark was just as bad as Jay for having a crass sense of humour and he didn't receive half of the flack Jay did. Aaron was made out to be a saint and he was, imo, a far nastier piece of work. The man slagged off his own family on national TV and then used them to garner public sympathy. He flirted with Tom and tried it on with several of the girls in a bid for a showmance, but looked down his nose at the recently married Jay and Louise - even though neither of them had got off with anyone else in the house (unlike Aaron). He was a provocative cretin too and deliberately instigated situations in the house so he could make himself out to be a victim.

Yes, Jay hit a few cushions, swore and thought he was on 'Dirty Sanchez' rather than BB, but he was no where near as bad as Conor.

Jay expressed some pretty violent feelings towards Aaron. This would have been his biggest crime, followed by his hygiene hijinks. As I said before though that was after he made numerous failed attempts to get on with Aaron. After BB pulled him up on it he found more acceptable ways to channel his anger.

And he never even came CLOSE to being a bully. He NEVER showed disdain or contempt for Aaron, rather extreme frustration leading to anger.

Conor has blatantly dismissed Deana as a person and repeatedly referred to her as a basterd rather than a bitch. This is worrying as he is almost de-feminising Deana by using an insult that refers to men. This subconscoiusly legitimises him acting towards her as if she were a man.

Anyone who ****s in a freezer on national TV and shaves his arse hole is not be adoured or a role model. He is one of the biggest if not the biggest most hated BB contestant ever!
