17 house-mates and only 9 weeks. Match that with only single evictions so far, they want more house-mates to remain in the house as the weeks go by. This is good for viewers as more house-mates means more entertainment. Nice one C5 or the producers.

i hate when they do that. it means we get less time griling them on BOTS.
It should be a final 3 imo.
having a final 6 or final 5 cheapens the finals i think.

BBUSA has now started having a final 3, when it used to always be a final 2. Survivor also started doing that.
It should be a final 2!!!

theres no point of having less than 5 housemates for a final week, can you imagine the highlights?

Final 5 is best... with one being evicted a few days before
and 4 on final night
Any less is boring, any more is overkill

Yes its a good move usually the last 2 weeks can be dull.

I agree. We're all left wondering how the hell they're going to evict so many people with such little time left but most final weeks with 5 or less people are pretty dull (at least in my opinion) so hopefully this will keep the series strong till the end.

May improve the last couple of weeks, but too many housemates was one of the reasons I turned off. Too many people to learn about with only about 45 minutes of footage a day.

I agree - I've watched a few seasons of BB, but have never seen the last 2-3 weeks of any seasons. By then, it's boring and I lose all interest.

I think they could have a bigger thing about the final week
Like if there were lots of housemates, they could still do single evictions but on the final week, they would evict one housemate each night building up to the final. It would all be a vote to win and the housemate with the fewest votes each night would get the boot, and it would culminate with a final 3 or 4 on the last night. So they could still have 7 or 8 in the final week. I think they should try that one time.
I just think it would make the final week more intense and like a final sprint to the finish line - not every year but one year maybe :)

I was thinking exactly the same, this weeks 4-way nomination and the fact that the evictee wouldn't be announced til' an hour later had me gripped, an eviction a day in the final week would be brilliant! :spin:
