The best series so far?

I honestly believe this is one of the best series of Big Brother so far. The Turf Wars task and the wide variety of housemates this year has had me thoroughly gripped and highly entertained, it is one of the best series in my opinion, but what do people think?

Nothing beats BB5 for me. This series would have to go a long way to be called the best EVER.

I wouldn't say best ever but it is really good. All in all I think C5 have done a great a job with BB, It's not the same as the classic C4 series but nothing ever well be imo, BB had gone stagnant on C4 and C5 gave it the revamp and enthusiasm it needed.

There can never be a series as good as BB1.
Never again can the total innocence of the HMs and the viewers be recreated.
Nor the utter fascination not just of the tabloids but the serious papers and TV/Radio.

if it had LF it would have made an OK series. It's not really had the talking points and the partisan atmosphere of other BB's though imo.

But yes, 24/7 live-feed would have made this series a whole lot greater, I just feel we've missed out on SO much, Scott's humour, Sara and Deana's 'friendship'

too many people i hate to ever call it the best. usally there is only 1 or 2 real nasty people and they go early. this year its most of the house. i like funny stuff enjoyable stuff with a few tosspots in there to keep it intresting. not a full on bitch fest.
dont know where i'd rank this one. its one of the most intresting though id give it that.

So far,one of the best but it has been blighted by all the early weeks nominations talk and the plotting and scheming that went on then.
It set a bad tone and focus for this series unfortunately,in my view.

Yeah absolutely, there was a lot of fun in BB2 and BB3 and they were both very entertaining series as well

Not the best, imo, but certainly my third favourite BB. Would have been better with out all the nominations talk in the first few weeks and 24/7 LF as this series needed it the most, imo.

It's been the best series for a few years. Better than 10, 11 and 12. Hope BB keeps it up with another variety of housemates for next year. I hope for more "rocker type" housemates next year though and don't need as many "good looking" boyz and girlz.

To be fair, there have been many a good series of BB. I think C5 has done well in making it highly entertaining this year, they've done a good job on the whole.
My favourite ones were BB7 and BB8

I think its better than the last two, but BB1, 2 and 3 are still my favourites. I find that 80% of this show im turning my TV volume up to maximum because there is just to much whispering between housemates. It doesn't help that im old and deaf.

Nowhere near the best!
They used to have awesome tasks back in the day. The one where some people were counting prawns/maggots (can't remember which) while the others had parties in the garden was amazing!!!! And the secret tunnel party room.......amazing!!!! They put no imagination or effort into coming up with the tasks any more.

BB was far more about people having an amazing time and great experiences back then and it was far more enjoyable to watch (for me anyway). You still had fights and arguments and bitching but it wasn't the entire content of the show like it is these days and for the most time it wasn't as nasty and spiteful as most of these twats are being.
The majority of the housemates this year pale into insignificance compared to the legends of BB past.

Agreed. Those saying it is the best ever either have not watched all of the BB series or have the memory of a goldfish.

This series is different and therfore is a bit novel and gives the impression of being better than it actually is. For me it is too nasty in nature with little in the way of deep relationships as you would normally get in BB sooner or later.

It is about dog eat dog and in the end becomes rather tiresome to watch....Lack of humanity become qiute tedius and boring.....as well as down right unpleasant viewing if it's occuring all the time....

I hope the next series becomes more human with fewer selfish type housemates.
