I see a lot of people (in one way or another ) trying to defend the above in different ways, with some of the most memorable for Conor being along the lines of ...

'He's not really THAT bad'
'He's a lovely guy with a great heart you know'
'You've got him totally wrong'

Amongst others I've seen for the other three partners in crime ...

'I hope they get a chance to redeem themselves'

Well that's all well and good but on national television, with replays and every detail scrutinized nothing gets missed - and they should well know this after how many series ? ...

Cue shameless quote from Batman Begins,

'It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you'

A slight redo on the Aristotle saying 'We are what we do every day.'

Not sure if that's the exact quote but that's the gist of it.

I'm frustrated by the claims of "they're vile but they make good telly so let's keep them in", and "if we keep nice people in, it will be boring". When did we start celebrating people being d1cks?!!! Just encourages everyone else to be vile because they then think that's the way to stand out/get ahead.

I don't enjoy watching them one jot. Plain nastiness under the guise of I don't give a f### or whatever other excuse they dream up in their deluded brains doesn't cut it. Not saying angst doesn't make good TV but they've been way over the line and remain there. Appalling
