know there're a few DB fans on here so thought I'd post it.
In what seems like an overdue collaboration, Danny Brown and AraabMuzik have come together for a new single called "Molly Ringwald". (Wonder what that title could possibly be referencing?) Yours Truly and Adidas Originals put together a video as part of their "Songs From Scratch" series, featuring a preview of the track and interviews about the collaboration.
Yours Truly will release the song as a 7" single through its Love Letters Ink imprint (Joey Bada$$' "Daily Routine" will appear on the other side). The song will be available digitally July 17, and is set to appear on the upcoming Fool's Gold compilation Loosies. A small number of copies of the 7" will given away for free through a Facebook campaign.
Both Danny Brown and AraabMuzik perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival this weekend in Chicago. Single day tickets for Friday and Sunday are on sale now.
