I don't think it's the worst BB, but I do agree with you a bit, it has went down hill slightly since Lydia & Benedict have been evicted, but having said that I really enjoyed the 7 days shopping task, it brought out the best & the worst of some of the HM's which has been great to watch.

I think the social dynamic this series has been incredibly, incredibly interesting especially from a psychology standpoint. Just the different relationships in the house, positive and negative, are interesting to watch. It doesn't need to be mindless humor all the time to be entertaining, but I understand that is something that some people do look for in a BB series.

Even with the loss of big characters like Chris, Lydia, and Arron I don't think it's gone downhill or gotten more boring at all.

I loved Benedict, but he is SO overrated on here. He didn't become entertaining until the last 6 days he was in the house, so I don't quite get how people seem to think the show went downhill when he left.

I don't think it went downhill exactly, but that's why it's so annoying he left when he did, because he showed what a good housemate he could be in those last few days

It can't even rank down there with BB4 IMO. Boring housemates, dull tasks and poor production values. :sleep:

Totally disagree. It's true that Benedict and Lydia were the house a-holes, foolishly condescending and obnoxious and therefore 'the big stirrers',
yet,
These types often don't 'evolve' or pan out into more. They can even stifle a series when everyone else 'locks down' because of them, in response.

So, here is an example of a great series (casting) because the big stirrers got on bright and early and were taken out - HOWEVER - once they left it gave the Shivonnes room to step up, come out and start their reigns of terror,
and,
So far there hasn't been a let down or any sign of it. If the next big 'Shlt stirrer' Shiovanne goes?
Watch the new space to get filled by more Caroline or Scott arseholery,
and so on.
This series has been absolutely brilliant in that it let the big obnoxious players be evicted when they were played out,
and,
let the next levels stew and buckle until their deeper issue popped.

But yes.. I will agree Lauren can win. She is delicious. Loving her!

I agree that Benedict and Lydia leaving were huge loses to the show but it's still decent. There have been far worse series, last year's and the one before that being good examples.

Ruined when they allowed the housemates to discuss nominations. One group formed up and picked targets and then they banned nominations talk before the other group got a chance to do the same.

Big characters left and it's been poor since with a couple of highlights. Not a patch on some of the BBs of the past.
