Each week you will nominate Three members which you think have made the best posts in the Big Brother sections, and other sections around the forum. you must give reasons for your nominations as well but you don't have to go overboard just a line will do

If possible try not to vote for people you speak to in chat threads a lot, vote for people who you think have generally made good interesting posts around the forum, you are voting on Post Quality not because they are your friends


Voting starts now, and will close next Tuesday at around 5pm, with the two or more winners being revealed.

At the end of the current series of Big Brother, the winners of the semi-rounds will go head to head in the final to determin who will win Best Poster of Big Brother 13.

Hey so I hate to have to be nit-picky about this but I thought I wanted to address the point. As the scores stood Jords had 14 votes in first place and then Yayita, BigBrother12, Mollie and I had 5 tied in second. Now, I guess this would have seen 'too many' people qualify but I really don't see how it's fair of you, Shaun, to edit your post today at 16:39pm from 'Jords' to 'Yayita' when you said votes closed at 6pm two days ago.

I mean obviously congratulations to Yayita and Jords, nothing against them, I think they're phenomenal members but I just don't see that as a justification for Mollie, BigBrother12 and myself. Also, I sound calculating and self-orientated here but I had 5 votes, not 4. Just saying.

Well, you're accentuating my point there, Shaun. I don't see why the rules can be adjusted solely for you when they're at other people's expense. Had you altered your vote prior to 6pm two days ago, it would've been completely on accord but I just see it as extremely unfair for myself, BigBrother12, Yayita and Mollie who statistically, all had equal totals yet other than Yayita, were not qualified, simply at your discretion. According to such rules, taking last week as an example, you, as the host, could've easily altered your vote from Marc to Niamh/Gypsygoth after the prescribed time limit so that only two people qualified, leaving Marc with only 6 votes. I just genuienly see this as totally unfair as if anything Mollie, myself and BigBrother12 also deserve to qualify - in particular Mollie and BigBrother12 for doing consistently well in other weeks and finally making it this week, only to have the qualification taken away from them due to a rule-break.

This, although I really am so chuffed that you got through man cause you're great. However, it's more the principle of it versus me actually getting through. Well actually, even moreso it's the fact that Mollie didn't get through. She's gotten so close so many times, and deserves it very much and now that she finally did, for it to be taken away when Shaun clearly stated that the vote closed at 6pm, two days ago, doesn't seem fair to me. But I feel like i'm talking to a wall now so I might as well, give up!

aw Raph :hug: it had to be decided somehow, and 5 people couldn't realistically go through, there will be plenty in the final as it is. Game organisers have to take the tough deciding decision sometimes. I'm sure the people will all get votes again in the next round, people tend to be consistent with their votes.

First and foremost, I haven't taken such a position at all. As Aisleyne would say I was 'just keeping it real, saying it how it is'. Next, when I asked someone to change their votes, it was actually to ask them to precisely 'not vote' for me, because I would find it unfair on anyone else if anything I had posted had ever influenced a vote. As for the comment I suggested to Kate, it was clearly meant humorously, where I may add I used the ':tongue:' symbol to characterize that.

As for your last point, I see where you're coming from and I actually think that's a really nice gesture for you to do that for Yayita. Don't get me wrong, as I mentioned beforehand, I am 100% on board and contempt that Yayita qualified, I just didn't think it was exactly fair on Mollie or BigBrother12. Seriously it was the moral of it, not anything to do with myself. I think maybe, following your considerate gesture for Yayita, it would nice to also be considerate for Mollie and BigBrother12 and alter/edit your Week 7 nominations and put those two in, if you see what I mean. I don't mind about myself because you don't seem to understand that it isn't about winning for me. As I posted previously in this thread, I was shocked and quite touched to actually get these votes this week as beforehand, I had only ever had one nomination in the first 4 weeks. So please don't say i'm not being gracious.

I hate confrontation and was definitely not looking for it. I just thought I wanted to address the point/concern that I had, and so I did.

Sorry Jords, you're totally right, the 'this' comment wasn't really rational, it was just in the gest of being frustrated, but wasn't in accord because I genuinely don't believe winning/not winning would influence your interpretation on a situation. As I sad in the later parts of that post that you quoted, i'm over the moon that you won, it couldn't have gone to a nicer person. So please don't take my 'this' comment to heart.

Hey so I hate to have to be nit-picky about this but I thought I wanted to address the point. As the scores stood Jords had 14 votes in first place and then Yayita, BigBrother12, Mollie and I had 5 tied in second. Now, I guess this would have seen 'too many' people qualify but I really don't see how it's fair of you, Shaun, to edit your post today at 16:39pm from 'Jords' to 'Yayita' when you said votes closed at 6pm two days ago.

I mean obviously congratulations to Yayita and Jords, nothing against them, I think they're phenomenal members but I just don't see that as a justification for Mollie, BigBrother12 and myself. Also, I sound calculating and self-orientated here but I had 5 votes, not 4. Just saying.

I don't really like this kind of "second in command" mantle you've given yourself here, Raph. You've posted on members' walls asking them to change their votes, you've suggested someone take over from me because I was 22 hours late, and now this. There had to be a clear winner here and I thought that, in all probability, Yayita was the least likely of you four to win again. Please get over it and graciously accept that you received 5 nominations, not 5 and "now you win".

So with that in mind, I copied by post forehand so that I could re-instate it, in this thread. According to the previous moderation, this shouldn't be a problem. So here it is:

Well I see you've taken the approach to refuse to answer me, yet again, which of course clarifies to me that you can't really argue against me but at the same time really confuses me. See, if I were in your position, I wouldn't go around attacking the accusation back but I would apologize instantaneously for what I had done wrong. Moreover, to show that I was sorry, I would've shown some way of attempting to be fair by voting for those that I hadn't in the next week. Alternatively, in the first place, I would've opened up a poll with the four tied people and given the TiBB members an opportunity to vote for who they chose to vote for, and either select one or two people. Just what I would've done.

Now, I also saw you were reporting a post, which I can give quite an educated guess to, was concerning me. It is a little amusing I suppose because I haven't had any warnings since something like February 2010, which epitomizes how rarely I get involved in confrontations but also makes me wonder, why you can't address a problem, if you do have one, any form of response that is, to me.

I didn't bump the Week 6 thread because I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you would eventually take the courtesy to reply to me. However, i've been put into a situation now where you've called upon a moderator to remove the argument in this thread. But what bothers me, is that you don't handle the problem in the original thread so I was obliged to move it over here. Now here was the post I put up a couple of hours ago. It's frustrating that it will probably get removed, but I do hope this time, you can have the decency to respond to it.

First and foremost, I haven't taken such a position at all. As Aisleyne would say I was 'just keeping it real, saying it how it is'. Next, when I asked someone to change their votes, it was actually to ask them to precisely 'not vote' for me, because I would find it unfair on anyone else if anything I had posted had ever influenced a vote. As for the comment I suggested to Kate, it was clearly meant humorously, where I may add I used the '' symbol to characterize that.

As for your last point, I see where you're coming from and I actually think that's a really nice gesture for you to do that for Yayita. Don't get me wrong, as I mentioned beforehand, I am 100% on board and contempt that Yayita qualified, I just didn't think it was exactly fair on Mollie or BigBrother12. Seriously it was the moral of it, not anything to do with myself. I think maybe, following your considerate gesture for Yayita, it would nice to also be considerate for Mollie and BigBrother12 and alter/edit your Week 7 nominations and put those two in, if you see what I mean. I don't mind about myself because you don't seem to understand that it isn't about winning for me. As I posted previously in this thread, I was shocked and quite touched to actually get these votes this week as beforehand, I had only ever had one nomination in the first 4 weeks. So please don't say i'm not being gracious.

I hate confrontation and was definitely not looking for it. I just thought I wanted to address the point/concern that I had, and so I did.

- Put through all five people. This would've been undesirable because there'd have been too many people in the final.
- Keep the time open for even longer, causing further delays
- Make a decision myself.

It might not have been perfect but it's what I've done and I'm not apologising for it because I've done nothing wrong. At the end of the day the people tied should be grateful that they've received support from other members. There's still three or four weeks left for them to get their time to shine. I'm really not listening to any more of this and I'm trying to be civil but if there's anything 5 years of TiBBers will tell you, it's that I don't like being undermined when I'm providing something for the forum.

Thank you for the reply, Shaun, I appreciate it :) Honestly, the reason I wanted a reply from you is just that when there is a conflict, I do like to resolve it and move on, you know? Like I feel frustrated if it ends unresolved :p Well for the Aisleyne thing, I apologize, I was watching back Day 64 of BB7 so it was on my mind but I didn't mean much for it.

Hey dude, at the end of the day, I have no problems with your decision. I agreed that I thought it was a really nice idea for Yayita :) The apology thing I meant was about the fact that you said I was trying to get votes and moreso that I wasn't gracious about the 5 that I got. Honestly, it meant a lot to me, those 5 votes, I didn't even expect 1 so when you said that, it upset me.

On the other note, it's true, you are hosting the game for us, and if by any means you felt undermined by me, then I sincerely apologize. Honestly, I detest arguments or confrontation of any sort and that's why i'm so adamant about wanting to sort it out now. I've got nothing against you dude, at all. I even nominated for you in this game 3 rounds ago or so! :tongue:
