I am wondering if BB has an adverse affect on offensive
and controversial issues, making abhorant things seem humdrum
n OK.

For example Caroline called Adam a gorilla. Now if didn't
see her on TV we'd mainly be disgusted but seeing her as a
3D person as opposed to a black n white tabloid image has humanised
her so even if you hate her comments there may be something
you like about her n thus we forget the offence. Ditto Conor.

I don't see that at all.
In real life, a whole kabal of insolent shlt-talking teens and youth will be blocking an alley, spitting on old people, taunting them and calling everyone and anyone 'n-words' r-words or for that matter smashing some white people or blatantly bullying civilians as they shout, threaten and intimidate,
Tonight a half-dozen people in the UK will be beaten, kicked in the head while packs of vicious vindictive racist, bigoted, sexist scallies, thugs, ethnic gangs and nothing will be done.
Nothing will stop it. It will happen again tomorrow. This is real life.
