BB in deep doody now.
They'll have to be seen to be doing something now or the it'll be the demise of the show.

This is nobodies fault but the producers of this programme. Firstly they shouldnt have given the comments airtime and secondly the culprits should be sat at home reading the papers now, not in there making money from their follies.

Had they thrown Conor out when it happened, this would have been avoided. But no, they left him in the house willy nilly.

They treat it too light-heartedly, neither should be ejected tbh but the warnings were naff and Conor showed absolute no remorse.

They should have had him offer a full and frank apology...Not let him carry on his vendetta of persecution against deana, it is spiralling into a situation that could have so easily have been avoided.....

Would have thought Parliament had more important things to discuss

I did at the time but I think its more because I really hate Conor. Well I dont know, Im sort of conflicted trying not to let my feelings make the decision.
If he was ejected it would be of course justified.

I'm afraid cooler heads are prevailing, some time has gone by now and people are starting to forgive and forget.. so sad, that he will stick around till the end.

Race relations is an important issue.

Maybe the producers will learn to stop being too ****ing lenient with things.

You would think that they would have at least attempted to nip any potential tension in the bud....
Even if the comments were misconstrued that was always a consideration, if only to cover themselves....

I remember when back in the day they discussed and condemned Dick and Dom In Da Bungalow for 'toilet humour' and suggested that it was corrupting the minds of young people or something else ridiculous, saying that the 'pants dance' was going to really affect children's upbringing. It's eventually what led Dick and Dom to give up and end the show.
Will never forget how they ruined part of my childhood. Even as young as I was then I asked surely they have more important things to discuss :bored:

I love how the news articles always make it sound like Conor threatened Deana to her face and said he'd knock her out. It'll probably be a good live changer when he gets out of the house and finds out people hate his guts for the comments he made. He'll probably grow up some cause of it.
Still don't feel Carolines comment was racist though. Adam has the build of a gorilla.

So would I, totally ridiculous in my view.
I guess it's likely some people have complained to their MPs as well too.

Apparently, this MP needed to get a moment of self-righteousness and contrived PC heroism.
But yeah... one would suppose they have things to do like.. battle murder rates, national healthcare, foreign wars, public safety etc?

1000 plus complaints were over conor only 5 about racisim to begin with about caroline and the mps act. the press start quoting racisim when it wasn't, sad really. gutter press and dumbo politions.
funny how 1200 complaints about conor does nothing. 5 complains about racisim and suddenly its a new debate and headlined as such .
sad very sad. they should make a fuss about the billions were wasting on uncalled for war while our country crumbles into the dirt. and give another 2 million to india and al the other countries and banks and other rubbish. while we scimp and scrape along like tramps. pathethic it is.

Im with the "they really should be discussing something more important" brigade on this one, maybe they are trying to deflect attention from some MPs getting some of the more sought after Olympic tix,

This is a TV show, why are MPs getting involved? They can tackle bullying and racism in real world, not on some TV show. Priorities TPTB!

Agreed. Personality clashes are being taken to the extreme by Conor and as much as I dislike him I don't believe it's anything to do with race. It's just a personality clash. Normal life.
As for Caroline it was a silly remark but I don't think she meant it the manner interpreted by those with race and ofcom tattood on their grey matter.
