Oh dear. It never rains but it pours.

A placid day in the House was disrupted by an announcement by Big Brother which forced all of the housemates onto the sofas to hear about a rule-break or two. Last night, after the eviction of Shievonne, it turns out two of our pals separately discussed one another in rule-breaking terms. Take a guess which pair we're talking about, friends!

That's right!

Deana and Conor both spoke individually about nominations on the evening of Day 39. Breaking to the news to nervous housemates, Big Brother immediately let them know the punishment – effective immediately. Deana and Conor were made to join forces and go into the garden for a massive laundry session. If things had been straightforward, they'd have simply grabbed their washboards and made for the sudsy water. But things are rarely straightforward, and the incident resulted in quite a lot of turmoil.

Conor was most amused when his own rule-break was announced, but the moment he heard Deana had been speaking about him he grew furious, raging against his nemesis as he stomped around collecting his washing equipment. Deana was slightly incredulous, whilst the rest of the housemates, at this point, only seemed amused.

Conor and Deana took their punishment in silence after Conor had calmed down, with Deana's only response to his earlier hail of fury a snapped "you're a nasty man". But as they scrubbed away, in the Living Area, the announcement prompted some real gossiping in Becky, Luke S, Ashleigh and Caroline.

The four tore strips off Luke A and Lauren, talking about their perceived underhand ways and sly movements. As the quartet grew louder with their opinions, the remaining Outsiders went first for a cigarette, chuckling with Deana as she fashioned herself a washer-woman hat, then retiring to the bedroom for a snooze. Deana joined them there when she was done.

They enjoyed their afternoon nap as the griping grew in volume in the living area. Whether or not The Outsiders could hear what was being said, there's no doubt their ears must have been burning. In fact, so hot was the gossip, it's a wonder their shell-likes didn't melt off their heads.

I have always said the punishment for talking about nominations should be that whoever does it is automatically up for eviction the next week.
I agree both Conor and Deana should be up but also that nominations take place as usual too so that others are up as well.

Very surprised that Deana who had been so careful thus far not to be caught talking about nominations has slipped up now.

i would not like him to be kicked out though - he needs to be voted out by an overwhelming majority so he can get into his thick skull that people are on to him. Even then he will probably just distort reality as he did before, to convince himself that it's not really true.

Brian announced that the first one to be saved with the MOST votes was Deana and the second one to be saved was Becky. Conor and Arron were in the bottom two, but Conor's ego couldn't take that, so his deluded handful of braincells came to the conclusion that BB were just trying to create drama by keeping him and Arron till last. Seriously, you couldn't make it up. I so hope he's up against Deana next time.

Brian would not be allowed to say XXXXX recieved the MOST votes to stay if it wasnt true. Some people vote specifically to ensure a certain housemate tops the votes, saying someone else besides the real winner got most voters would be classed as decieving the public...and I doubt c5 would risk it for something as petty as this tbh.

The other housemates know that Conor and Deana detest each other, it was rather daft of BB to put them together on a task/punishment, it would seem rather than trying to avoid further conflict as to these 2 with each other, BB is actually encouraging it to happen.

Deana has no love for Connor,any move she makes to him is not done to befriend him, he cannot stand her and makes no friendly moves to her at all and so it would be best to keep them separate not push them together.

The arguments and comments between them which are likely never friendly or ever will be, are something the others have probably just accepted as the norm to those 2 now.
