It is very easy to say these things when you are on the outside voted off and he is still in there. I dont think jealousy is the key here, i just think Ben wants to keep in the public eye so he says what he can to stay there. Ben was interesting but he did too little too late, he missed his chance. I'm not a Conor fan, but I tolerate him more than a few other housemates. As far as Benedict's revelations, these are NOTHING. Conor mentioned both the Hitler pubes and party trick in his VT.

Benidict did that as a part of his ideologie that the British public should be more comfortable with their sexuality, like the scandanavian countries. I think he's already said this, but Britain has one of the worst sex-eds, while the highest STIs and the reverse is true in places like Sweden and Norway. He did it on camera, on a show which has benifited from the viewing of many teens in the past few years as an example not to be ashamed of the various ways you can show your sexuality (be it gay, bi, or any other part of the community).

In my opinion he's mature becuase he showed the ability to think ahead, notice something he did not agree with in his society and try and tackle it, and also set up a platform to further his views. So, rather than focusing on the now he's planning for the far future, which is, in my opinion, the mark of maturity.

No worries about jumbling, I perfectly understood what you meant. I'm in the US, so I'm not aware of the STI infection rate of the UK, but I believe the pregnancy rate in the US also quite high especially among minorities. My thought process is it's not necessarily a lack of sex education that makes it high, but the higher acceptance of casual sex from an early age. Anyway, that's another issue. :)

I heard him make the comments about STIs and such, but I guess I saw the disconnect with performing in front of a camera and then blabbing to your HMs about masturbating in the bath tub shared by all.
