Like him more now, if he's gonna play a game with it then at least he'll be far more interesting than he has been.
Feel sorry for her though of course...but that's the name of the game.

I knew from day 1 it's not a real romance, any romance would take weeks to develop, not on day 2 you don't know them well enough, don't like them two anyway.

Methinks BB may be planning to dilute potential nominations for Conor with this wee bombshell. Luke's clearly always been using *******igh but they choose this week to out him, and just before nominations as well. Happy for the confirmation but hope the housemates don't lose focus re: how vile Conor's been. Cakegate is another such distraction. A fake relationship, and being greedy are not a patch on threats of sexual assault...

However, the main part of the joke on
Luke was yet to come, and for it, BB
ended the feed into the main house
and the agency rep got down to
business…
He asked Luke about “the status” of
his relationship with Ashleigh, and
picking up on the fact that it could
well inhibit the work he would be
offered outside of the house, Luke
prevaricated for a few moments
before saying, “Well, ‘cos I came in
here, and I was like ‘I’ll just get with a
bird anyway…’”
Then, while still talking about
Ashleigh, Luke added, “But there’s
loads of stuff that irritates me, but if it
like… it might not last on the outside
world so…”
The faux rep then asked, “Are you
coming out of here thinking, The
Bachelor, Hollywood Nights, single life,
or are you coming out thinking Katie
and Peter, celebrity wedding?”
To which Luke replied, “Erm, I
dunno…. I’d prefer The Bachelor life,
it’s more fun."

He won't be able to relax now, he'll be worried they'll show the HMs and he knows the viewers will have seen it! It's brilliant. I did not think he'd fall for it

.................but she left him in bed during the night, made her way in her nightdress to the bathroom where she sat close by Conor.
She then opened her heart and told him how she wasn't sincere with Luke.
She was hoping for a positive result from the Irish hulk but it didn't materialise......so Luke continued to fill the role.
That was all weeks ago.

boring and she needs to be punished for making us all watch her drivel and listen to her alwful scabby voice.
This isn't about poor Luke or poor Ashleigh. They were both faking a relationship for TV. The question is what face they decide to play to the house and the audience. They each individually know it was fake, Conor knows it's fake. Possibly a few select others do, too. Do they carry out the charade of an angsty break-up, or do they just openly admit "oh yeah, we didn't care" which is essentially admitting to faking a relationship for camera time?

So true. He is just another John James.
However Luke has no charisma at all. He is just a protein shake. So dull.

They are both playing the relationship card in the house (Luke and Ashleigh), BB viewers see straight through showmances these days though, so it shouldn't be a suprise to anyone really. He'll drop her like a hot peice of coal the moment they are out of there and OK deals have dried up. Anyone remember Josie and John James?
It's going to be hard viewing for Asheleigh though, I really do think the poor soul is smitten with Luke. Her parents seemed nice (interview with Jamie) so hopefully they can get her in a good place asap.

hahaha, though tbf to everyone on the forum, I don't think anyone actually believed it was real. You usually get people arguing about these "relationships" and whether or not they're real but for the first time ever on here, I think everyone believed it was fake

I'm not totally convinced it's fake. It wouldn't surprise me if they stay together outside of the house, just like with Jay and Lou last year. Everyone said they were fake at the time too IIRC

well yeah but to be fair he was put on the spot. It's not that strange he'd choose his possible future career over her at this stage. Plus he did backtrack later on, possibly because he thought it might jeapardise the relationship (or I'll admit it, just as likely, the way the public perceive him!)
I'm not saying they have a good relationship, but I'm not convinced it's 100% fake! Their relationship is a shade of grey and not so black and white as it's being painted in my view.

it was nice to see him squirm. the cocky game player looked to be a man destroyed. you could see in his face he knew he'd blown his chance to win. which is all he cares about hence the r ship in the first place.
good stuff but i hope they show it to ashleigh

The look on his face when she said 'well they are obviously talking about US on the outside'......realisation must have smacked him in the face....
Didnt he say he always intended to get into a romance..... he made a poor choice imo....and how shallow is he???

I think Ash may be going off Luke herself.
When he was feeling vulnerable post-calendar humiliation and saying he looked fat, she looked horrified at his vulnearability. As if he stopped being a macho strong action figure and became a wuss.

Well, if that's what it takes then so be it. I just think there's more to it than meets the eye. I could be wrong but so could the majority.
Most people agreed last year that JayLou was fake and I remember saying it wasn't, so I was the one laughing at the end that time and I see no reason why it can't be the case again :hmph:
Once they get out the house and the fame fades, only then will we know.

Well I see your point, and it's a strong one I don't deny it but what people say is not always necessarily what they feel inside.
