Face to face nominations (Happening Now)

Today’s Big Brother 2012 nominations will take place face to face, and here’s exactly how they’ll work.


Later today, the three groups of housemates – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly – will pan for gold.

The group who pans the most gold will win immunity from eviction.

Sheriff Conor and his deputy Caroline are not immune from eviction.

As the day draws to a close, housemates will find themselves out on the range playing cards… and taking part in face to face Campfire Nominations.

Each of the housemates will be given a pack of cards, which contains a card with the face of which housemate who can be nominated. The housemates who won the immunity challenge will have their cards remove from the decks.

The housemates must choose the two housemates they wish to nominate by selecting their cards from the deck and one by one revealing the housemate they wish to nominate, giving their reasons why.

We’ll reveal the results of the nominations later today!

I know why should the HM who made an offensive slur about Adam being a gorilla and the HM who made an indirect taunt to rape Deana with an epilator miss out on immunity. I tend to agree with you on this one Kate. A few years ago (the year Josie won) John James was nominated almost weekly but when it came to the face to face nominations (they had to throw a bucket of slush over their nominated HM) John James didn't receive any. So I think Deana will be the only one to have the gall to nominate. Personally I think BB should let them nominate as normal in the DR and then sit all HMs down (around the camp fire) and show them who nominated who. This face to face stuff will be apologies in advance followed by pathetic reasons.

Face to face nominations are always a total fail. Did BB not learn anything from the last 2 attempts at this? It's clearly obvious that the most intimidating HM's never get picked in face to face noms as HM's are too chicken **** and don't want to be attacked or have to explain to their face their honest feelings for the days following.

The ONLY way this will work is if BB asks them to nom in diary room first and then makes them repeat word for word what they said around the campfire.

Certain insiders have been speaking non-stop in code of exactly who they will be nominating and if BB only allows noms face to face then they will all follow like sheep!

Face to face noms never work. They wont be intimidated they are all like sheep anyway. The outsiders will nom the insiders and vica versa and those not sure will nom Becks. Face to face generally brings the last few days event to the table and whoever has done wrong will be nominated for that reason.
