View Full Version : Should we just accept 'The Insiders' are the better game players?

Caroline and Conor just seem pure ruthless and once they home in on a target they're usually up. Caroline moreso as she's been running the house for weeks. Even though it's nasty, it is a game at the end of the day. The Outsiders should've thought about their noms cos they knew which way it was going.
I'll probably end up taking all this back if Lauren goes and they will be back to being bullies

Get Becky out.
Atleast Conor & Caroline have been them true selves from the start, Becky was acting & glimmers of her true personallity shone out

We've known from practically Day 1 that Caroline is the queen of cunningly influencing nominations. She somehow convinced the whole house that Luke A can't be trusted.

The obvious difference between the two groups imo is one of them openly say who they're going to nominate and get a slap on the wrist for it where as the others try to do it within the rules. Just shows how weak and pathetic BB have been this years that the rule breakers have actually come out on top.

Dunno, Caroline's poison dripping every week has worked pretty well so far.

SO TRUE. And they stopped the Noms talk RIGHT before the outsiders got themselves properly sorted.
REALLY GUTTED Deana didn't cop on and nom Caroline :(

Oh Caroline definitely but collectively as a group its just the numbers.

Series was ruined when they decided to allow nomination talk at the start. Allowed one group to form up and pick targets that may have joined the group that later became the "outsiders" and made sure they always have numbers. It'll continue until BB stops it, which I don't have much confidence they will.
Putting everyone up for eviction and getting rid of two people would be a start, I'm confident Caroline / Becky / Ashleigh / Conor would go before someone like Deana or Adam. Especially in a vote to evict.

Sorry but block-voting has always occured, said this all along.
See: BB10
That was the worst case!
Whoever Caroline nominates, goes up.
Not always - the week it was Deana vs Lydia was the exact opposite of what she wanted, and she spent the 2 previous weeks desperately trying to get Adam up. She switched gears from Luke A and Adam to Luke A and Lauren this week, and that worked for her. Her venom only works when her audience listens to her. Problem is, they get just as sick of listening to her whine as we do.

It's not that they are better gameplayers, it's that BB holds that thuggish sides hand every step of the way, where as The Outsiders have to work 100 times as hard to get where they have gotten.

Well we'll see which member of the two groups wins the show. Game-playing can only take you so far, if any of the insiders are under any illusion that they're popular & have a hope in hell of winning then reality willl hit them hard.

You could say they are better game players but everything comes to an end and this group will crack as soon there's only 1 or 2 outsiders left, they must be so pleased now but their numbers are gonna be their curse, they are gonna backstab each other to death.

Wouldn't say the insiders are better game players at all.
Caroline and Conor are just naturally the type of people that can manipulate without trying. They don't like certain people and they'll openly bitch about them. In a face to face nomination no one that is 'cool' with those two are going to go against them and then have to deal with the hassle/risk of being in their bad grace. But that's just who Caroline and Conor are. It's not gameplay imo.

There must be a way to stop Caroline.
Her weekly bile is ruining the show for me.

Exactly! the only "tactic" they employ is choosing one of the outsiders....and then bitching non stop about them so everyone in the group knows who to nominate

I didnt read the whole thread ....but does Russel Hance ring a bell?
It's not just about getting to the end if you get my drift.

Considering Conor has been house enemy #.1 and is now the puppet master. I'll give credit when credit is due, the man is a manipulator.

Yeah, great example! (it's Hantz by the way:thumbs:)
He was living proof that nastiness and disgusting behaviour can easily get you to the final of a reality TV show but once you've reached that point, having used those 'tactics', nobody's gonna' vote for you to be the winner (thank god!).
It's called "The Extremely Short-Sighted Method" :joker:

I agree that Caroline is the spiritual leader of the insiders but we must not let Becky get away with it! this is all her doing. If she hadn't jumped ship we'd probably have had Conor up this week.

No because its purely safety in numbers....

The outsiders are just too nice to play it sneaky. it isnt in there nature to do what caroline etc do. they just hope good will provail and the public will save them , problem is we can only save 1 if 2 of them go up.
the insiders might win some battles but the outsiders will win the war. so best game players are not the insiders they have all killed there chances to win the game which is what its all about

sara is not at home with the insiders even though they have claimed her for their own, if she defected she might encourage scott to go too as he is not conors biggest fan?

The Outsiders will be picked off one by one, but the final one who is left will win it all and therefore win the war

It's all down to numbers. Unfortunately in the house, as in real life, the ar5eholes outnumber the decent people. I'm bored with Big Brother now. Finally... I'm bored with it.

Well the good news is that as of about 11:15pm on a Friday night we all know exactly who will be up the following week as that's when Conor and Caroline start their nomination campaign for the following week!
At least it gives the (dwindling) viewers a chance to prepare.
My bet Becky and Sara will be up next week as Caroline will be very quick to stab the knife into Sara's back as she's not fully converted to the dark side yet. She'll be gunning for Becky as she doesn't need her - she used her this week to sway noms the way she wanted but now she's done with her!
She won't chance putting whoever wins this eviction up again next week incase it backfires on her and she's up alongside one of them!
She's a shrewd, calculating, manipulating, childish bitch of a women... but she's a fantastic game player! Clearly her public shool education didn't all go to waste!
