I was apathetic to the first evictees, because I thought that the remaining housemates could pick things up but I was wrong. I find the remaining housemates not particularly interesting and repetitive, hence unwatchable.

Imagine a house with Victoria, Chris, Benedict and Lydia instead of some that remain. Ah well.

Benedict - would be boring and likely bitching too.
Victoria - would have turned out to be a major bitch.
Chris - would be a bitch and crying about food.

There would be no difference. Face it, the talking about noms created divisions early on and the bitching would still be happening regardless of who was in the house now.

Always baffles me how early evictees get put on a pedestal of greatness when they probably would have turn out to be just as **** as some of the people that stayed in the house.

I don't think any of the former evictees would be trying to do anything different than when they were in before really.

Lydia for instance would have been totally lost not being able to talk about nominations,Victoria never did anything anyway except go an about being the oldest in there.
Chris may have been able to raise his game in fairness to him and Benedicts lectures would have started to wear likely very thin by now too.

As an Arron supporter I still wouldn't say he should be in again either, they had their time and made errors,they would likely make the same ones again too.
My guess though for Chris was,in the main he likely got nominated because he argued with Becky very early on just after she went in.
The difference now could be,he would be hailed for that now rather than put down for it like he was at the time.

However, all but 2 to 3 of the housemates are doing a lot in the house and they make it entertaining in my opinion so I am happy with things as they are.

It's just the nature of the beast, if you want to survive you have to play a very canny game and maybe hide aspects of your personality that are not attractive to others, and adopt traits from others that you feel are popular.
