View Full Version : Becky What if...?

Instead of her, either Anthony or Biavesh would have entered to house as a wildcard...
What kind of housemates would they have been, what their roles and how well would they had blended into the group of housemates
I think Anthony would have been an absolute legend and with both funny and entertaining qualities. Intellectual genius with an excellent humour and perceptive view on things. Benedict and him might have gone along well. Maybe Lydia also.
Biavesh could have been the hyperactive übercamp gayguy also with a funny factor (maybe) and maybe he would have been Scott´s nemesis/best friend.
We all know what Becky is/has been in the house... :nono:

I would not really have been interested in seeing Bhavesh in the house. The way Jamie East described him as "Brian Dowling mark II" put me off him instantly, and seeing his interviews just confirmed my gut negative feeling about him. (Although I can just imagine how pissy Scott would become when he realized he was no longer the "only gay in the village")
Anthony would have been amazing, he would have sided with the outsiders and the insiders wouldn't have known how to react when he DESTROYED them with his super-honed intellect, boundless Dr. Who trivia knowledge, and lethal flute-playing skills! (or something like that) :worship:

.
I think a lot of the insiders would've loathed him (see: Arron complaining about people bullying him by being smarter than he is). If Lydia and Benedict had latched on to him, it could've given the outsiders the numbers needed to tip the balance early. If Scott had instead, it would've been a different road back to where we are now, only difference being one more vote on the outside.

I think Anthony wouldnt have lasted long. His brand of humour and somewhat anoying retoric would have annoyed these guys no end. Conor might have taken issues with him but the other guy would have bonded with Scott and maybe we would have had some real romance in there this year instead of lushleigh.
In fact Ive just thought, Deana could have put him on a minimum wage and her bedspace wouldnt be like a war zone.

Obviously cannot say for sure but I do personally believe either would have turned out far better housemates than she has become over the weeks.

I wish we could have them in now and remove Becky.
Doesn't she count for two people anyway?

Why is whenever you start insulting me that your proof-reading quality really takes a nosedive, when in the very next clause you can suddenly spell again?
As far as "rhetoric" (or retoric) goes, I type just as I talk, so thanks a bunch for making fun of my natural speech patterns without even having met me ...
Don't feed the trolls, I know. I am my own worst enemy.
Back to the original subject ... If I had been in charge of the situation and not just a cog in the machine, I'd have scrapped the wildcard system and just put Bhavesh in (probably instead of Conor or Arron). Out of the three of us, I feel he stood out the most for the right reasons, and his back story was genuinely interesting. He was also a very charming guy in real life.
Thanks to the posters here for the words of support here, though. :) I would certainly have been a firm ally of the Outsiders, though whether I'd have brought in any unique qualities to that group I'm not sure (Possibly uber-geekiness, which my girlfriend reassures me is not a sin ...). I think the Outsiders are a pretty good group as it is ... or rather they were, before the war of attrition turned so badly against them. :(
And the flute, unfortunately, was and remains a forbidden item. ;)

Anthony the first few lines of you reply explains in very few words why you were not picked or are not in there. You came accross as a bit of a clever dick and I venture to suggest that most of the great british thought your get up and weird attempt to sound interesting and clever left them cold.
In the world I come from, people that feel the need to paint their face and dress up usually need help, not votes. I am sure you are a very clever young lad but your tongue and RHETORIC make me very wary so you didnt get my vote.

(Highlighting just to emphasise to any mods watching that I did not cast the first truly offensive stone in this "debate")
Not that I need to justify my profile picture, but since Dave Gibson (photographer) and Hannah (make-up artist) worked very hard on conceiving and editing that shot, I am proud to display their work here. Modelling is a thing I do. Sometimes for pay, sometimes just to help out local creatives with their projects. If it offends you, that says more for the narrowness of your mind than my mental health.
I disliked my Big Brother VT as well, as I have already told you, and I would not do it the same way again. Your trolling, however (and I know I am not the only recipient of it on this site), is a much sadder occupation for a man of your years and professional status than my goofed-up audition. At least there was no malice in that.

Everyone thought Becky would be great and look how that ended up? Either of the other two wildcards would have ended up similarly (no offense to Anthony). There were a lot of big personalities in the house, all the wildcards would have slowly faded to the background and settled with a few friends. Living in there 24/7 would have taken the toll on them and they'd be just as dull as Becky is.
Best case scenario would have been Bhavesh.. only because he could have ended up being a real bitch and slightly entertaining because of it. Anthony would definitely have ended up being as boring as anyone else... there's just nothing for people to feed off of in a house like that when it's all bitching.

You know, I was thinking that they say the Camera adds about 10lbs but how can that be with Becky as there are only 478 cameras in the BB House ???

Would have been nice, though at the same time I've enjoyed being able to comment on the action from the outside. It will be interesting fo me to see what I can bring to next year's audition in terms of fresh insight, since I am no longer as naive as I was (or as Adam was, apparently). Thank you for the encouragement. :)

The whole experience has been positive. Hope that doesn't disappoint you too much.

Always the danger I would have ended up as a redundant member of the Outsiders, very true. And I do agree about Bhavesh, though I think he had a lot more to offer than bitchiness ...

There's no 'what if' about it - I said this, I said this time and time again that Anthony would of been a great housemate and that Becky would be vile.
Did anyone listen? No. And I was right.

I knew she'd be fake as soon as the first photo of her came out.
