Foul-mouthed, hairy, lazy Princess Deana apparently called Adam a bumbaclot.
What is a bumbaclot?

Doesn't it mean 'dirty tampon'
I remember Alexandra Burke calling Example once on Twitter, so I looked it up.

It's an extremely derogatory Jamaican insult. Under what circumstances did Deana call him that? :laugh2:

It's ok though seen as neither are white. That's the way it works.

:conf:
So if one of the whites in the house called one of the other whites a Mother*******er, the equivilent of a Bumbaclot according to the link someone gave, is that ok also then? :conf2: Just curious on this one.

Wow - she gets called into the diary room and warned about using that word (which clearly didn't bother Adam) yet Thugly Conor can tell Deana to her face to "F Off" and scream all kind of other profanities at her and still remains in the house even after he's been given a warning?
Plus I love the way Daily Star said she hurled it at Adam when clearly they were having somewhat friendly banter!

The article doesn't really make clear the context in which it was used, why would she call him it and then ask if it's a bad word :suspect:

Has a single day gone by during this bb without someone pretending to be offended and outraged by something?

Yeah I've heard the Jamaicans use it enough times, it's definitely not racist. Not really the nicest thing to say to someone, but it could be a lot worse.

They were both told off in the Diary Room. Seems fair.

It's not the same, because when people say Bumbaclot it's often in a very strong Jamaican accent. Marcus was once pulled for imitating Sree's accent in BB10.

Doesn't matter where his parents are from, she's not mimicking him because he doesn't have a Jamaican accent. Are people not allowed to use a different language now?

I just don't think the two things are comparable really but I see your point, like the way Caroline was mimicking Laurens voice for example, I think that would on a par with Marcus mimicking Sree. But I don't think Deana saying a Jamaican word is the same.

bumbaclot refers to the cloth used as a tampon... before tampons were used. Kind like calling someone a ****rag. But Adam isn't Jamaican, and "Black people use that word"??? Africian American's certainly don't use that word lol. It sounds like something Deana heard from a friend or on tv and repeated for the fun of it.

"Black people" is not a nationality just as polish people speak polish Germans speak, German do you get my drift? So black people from Ghana,Brazil, Haiti, Zambia, south Africa -I could go on- would not understand the phrase either. Black people do not all speak the same language, just as white people don't all speak the same language.

Karezza, why do you derogatorily refer to Deana as a 'Princess' just because the majority of BB fans were outraged at the disgusting way she had abuse and foul mouthed language screamed at her when she was scapegoated over a prize that had nothing to do with her? That's also not forgetting Conor's rant about shoving an epilator up her vagina and knocking her out?
I do find your negative obsession with her peculiar, to say the least.

For clarity and as someone who often hears Jafakecan spoken in it's original habitat North London there is no such thing as the Jamaican language. Jamaicans speak English with an accent some phraseology and slang.
Bumbaclot is the phonetic spelling of someone with a strong Jamaican accent saying bum cloth.
A bumbaclot and a blaadclart are not one and the same thing........ you can do the phonetics. :laugh2:
When a person who ISN'T of Jamaican birth speaks often or continually with this accent they are known as a Ja FAKE can.
When a person who ISN'T of of Jamaican birth directs this accent at a black person and uses ridicule mockery derision or rage they themselves are the blaadclart. :laugh2: :laugh2:
Jamaica is a multiracial society with a diversity ranging from Arawak to German. The accent is not limited to a race but a nationality.

This is the problem with people screaming 'racism'. You have just described how complicated it is to understand the languages of the world. I suspct Deena was trying to be insulting. Why not just say it straight.

Take ownership of those freedoms and choices. Don't deny them or believe BB denies you them. You just can't write them down. It's a crime.
If BB understands the words bum cloth to have been delivered in a racist abusive hateful manner I'm sure they'll do something about it.

Sighs. I grew up in and around Brixton. Here goes "Ras Clart" and "Bomba Clart" are patois or patwa, a creole dialect of English. One can also say "Pussy Clart" and many other interesting derivations. I have not watched BB since launch night but is Adam the fool who said he was a gangster and only did an 8 months stretch? Did he blag a sweet shop? Jah.
