He's generally used by BB to put their opinions/views across when they want to make it appear that those views aren't coming from BB but from the 'wacky, cool' comedy presenter who i'm sure BB think is "down wiv the kidz" and popular.

As far as I was ever told, the wildcards were selected personally by Jamie East from candidates he singled out at the first auditions, as can be seen in the video of the process, where he oversees the auditions from beginning to end. However, the auditions were so brief, of no more than a few hours' duration at most, that there was no way anyone was going to get a proper appreciation of anyone's dark side from just those.

Becky has been whining for a few weeks to anyone who will listen that Luke S and Luke A (heavily blaming Luke A) do the shopping as some kind of power trip and everyone should have a turn to do it. It's obviously beyond her that Luke A, the chef, and Luke S are the two people in the house who actually know how to cook. She insisted it was only fair that they have a turn. Which is why they now have a cupboard full of chocolate and a freezer full of cheesecakes and chicken nuggets.
