View Full Version : Luke A ruthlessly setting up Lauren for the fall

So Luke A knows clear how Lauren feels about the whole Adam thing, so he decides to try push them both together a couple of days before the eviction :bored: He knew the awkwardness and knew how it would end. Seems he'll do anything to win eh

I hate him but I doubt this was his intention.

I don't think he meant anything other than to help his friends out. He's probably been sitting in between their flirty banter and thought he would assist as Adam has feelings towards Lauren but clearly was afraid to speak out to her openly about it. Plus we don't know if Adam asked him to say something to her when he wasn't around.
Besides, both Adam and Lauren came out looking pretty mature and comfortable with keeping things as they are. So it's all good.
Caroline would have just p'd herself laughing and made the person declaring his feelings feel like a complete tool, and then run off telling everyone else what had just happened even though they're the same age.

It was really awkward though, and Adam probably wouldn't have done anything if Luke hadn't give him the nudge and his little speech about "everyone expecting it to happen". He was definitely looking for Lauren to reject Adam and Lauren look bad. Very calculated.

Sadly for Lauren yes, I think you have a good point here.
Odd he chose eviction week for them both to really push this issue and even when it seemed Adam wasn't going to make any change or say anything,Luke A pushed the issue and talked to Lauren himself.
In the end though, Lauren handled things well and I hope the firendship can get back to where it was,not easy now she knows how Adam really feels though.

I agree with you InOne it was totally calculated, he knew exactly what he was doing.

I don't think so. It could well work out the other way - people could keep Lauren in to see how it plays out between her and Adam - and some people enjoy the awkwardness of the situation. No, too risky.

Nah, if anything he was helping adam realise she was using him for airtime. 'I'm one of the lads' really?... I don't see the other lads dry humping each other do you?

Dullard Luke A knows exactly what he is doing. He wants Lauren out that's why he was grovelling and trying to make friends with those that nominated him as he is expecting to stay and was clearing the way to avoid being nominated again next week.
Don't fall for the so called genuine act he puts on. He is a million miles from being genuine at all.....No one in that house should trust him.....

Ah no, I don't think he did it because of that, he's been talking to Adam about his relationship with Lauren for weeks now

I've gone off him a bit this week. I didn't like all the sudden one to one chats with the insiders and yesterday was a bit suspect. He knew that would likely be shown on thursday's highlights.
I still can't help but like him though, but really hope Lauren stays.

More to the point, why did adam have to get that serious just 48 hours before lauren is up in front of the public vote? They have play fought and flirted like a couple of college kids. Nothing more. She has already told him there is nothing more. Notice also how they cut deana out of the bed 'threesome' when they were ALL lying on the bed. Last night's show could have placed her in jeopardy. Luke A I like but he is coming across as a tad desperate. Lauren has stuck to her guns, but as the girl up expect more boos now. Crazy for this to happen, considering what she has had to put up with behind her back/in front of her.:nono:

He chose this week because he knew he would be in focus and no one wants to win more than he does because of the money.
I think he would do anything to win. But then it is a game.

There is no will they/won't they as Lauren has made herself pretty clear it's not happening. Luke A pushed Adam into to make it awkward for them and Lauren to be the nasty vixen rejecting the poor man.
Donovan.

Either way I'm glad that it was done. Now Adam and Lauren will hopefully be able to move on from it and still be friends.

Maybe that was his intention, but I think it's backfired. I know Lauren has verbally made it clear, let's see if she stops the physical flirting...therein lies the will they / won't they. Body language.

Not sure what way the casual viewer would see it really, but's it well known females never favour well on BB, especially in situations with men. I think it might be so awkward now the flirting will most likely stop.

The bookies and the gamblers will decide not BB fans. Gamblers will also vote in a way to make their winnings a reality........Like other weeks the favourite to stay until the last minute will almost certainly go.....Luke A and the gamblers have and will do to much damage to Laurens chances.....

I think Luke A is a decent bloke and against most of the others he'd be safe.
Have to concede Lauren is the more entertaining of the two

Mmmm. Trouble is I don't think ash is bright enough to recognise bad news anyhow.....Her face will look as blank as it normally looks.
Having said that for some strange reason I can't explain I quite like Ash....Don't want her to win but if only the insider nasty housemates were left to choose from I would choose her in theory as I would not wast my money.:joker:

What on earth makes you think Luke is favourite to stay? Take a look at all the polls, he is about 65-35 down against Lauren.
Your theory is based on false data.

i don't think you can say he done that for this reason - we are all responsible for our own actions and choose to do what ever we wish - if anyone is silly enough to follow anyone advice ESPECIALLY in BB - well they have shot them selfs in the feet as they must be aware that it is a game show.
