I was cheeted on and it destroyed me and i still think about it to this day

I've never been in a relationship as I like to be single to much lol, but if I was in a relationship I would probably be the one being cheated on as I don't think any girl could put up with me for very long lol.

We did sort it out as we are still together now. If ever im in a low mood tge memories of it all come flooding back.

Never had a relationship as yet,too busy with my studies and planning my future,I have had friends I believed I could trust let me down by saying things that weren't true or twisting my conversations and trying to cause trouble,especially at Uni.

That really hurts and to me is near beyond forgiving, no doubt someday I may have the relationship/marriage cheating thing to face however loss of trust in people you believed were friends you could trust was bad enough so I cannot imagine how it must really feel to set out to commit to someone for likely life and have them cheat on you.

I've not been in a relationship for any of those to occur.

I wouldn't consider cheating on anybody though, surely if I was in a relationship I'd be happy enough to be with him and not go out looking for potential screws? If I wasn't happy, I'd just split.

Same as Vanessa, I have been both cheater and cheated on. For those who know me well enough to think this is out of character, I'll just clarify that both happened in the same relationship, and he cheated on me numerous times first. One night out with a very close male friend turned into more. Was a one off. I wouldn't stay in a relationship like that now, but at the time my self esteem was at rock bottom. I value myself much more now.
