It's not sport, just an over-expensive schmaltz - fest.
The real Olympics will start later.

Dont fret. Just flip over to see the last 5 mins of the 9pm show (9.55). Thats when they evict. No need to watch the eviction show as its crap anyway.

Only saddos watch the Olympic ceremony.
I was one of the audience for the Tech Run for the Opening Ceremony in the Olympic Park tonight and let me tell you that it pretty much blew everyone away - it is AMAZING and FANTASTIC - an incredible spectacle - and it is not just empty spectacle - it is also extremely political - and the music is GREAT
People will be talking about this for years - I was really hoping that Danny Boyle would come through with the goods but one never really knows in advance - well let me be the first to tell you that he has - I heard a young woman with a toddler in a pushchair saying to her friend on the way out 'well Danny Boyle never lets people down' and that is absolutely true - he is a good guy and a nice man but also a little bit of a genius - Danny rocks!

olympics rock, you got 2+ billion people worldwide watching one single event all at the same time. just the cool factor of it all, lover of sports or not its great!
the opening ceremony is always such an epic event, over expensive and predictable sometimes yes, but it makes millions of people feel good, and even for a short time, come together. AND you guys in the UK are actually hosting it this time! take pride, show some class! be proud! its ok to feel good about it!

I am glad they clash in a way as the openiong ceremony is always too long for me. This way I can watch the eviction and then the rest of the ceremony.

I will be watching the Olympic ceremony, as will a lot of other BB watchers. The Olympics in London is something that will never happen again in our lifetimes, and the opening ceremony will be a brilliant spectacle. This year's BB has been ****e, mainly because all the good housemates were thrown out by the public weeks ago (Chris, Benedict etc). No brainer for me - Olympics all the way.

Will people atleast vote in mass? If people dont vote this can be another surprise eviction... Sarah could end up leaving over Ash & Lukes
