I think it's also a way for them to recoup some of the voting cash that they lost with last weeks double outsider eviction that nobody seemed particularly keen to bother voting for.

This 'vote to save' crap is such a blatant way to make people have to spend more money to try and make sure their favourite is saved.:mad:

BB shouldn't be attempting to change how the game plays out at all though.

If the ratings suck, fire the person responsible for picking who got into the house in the first place, but don't step in and start playing favourites and altering the natural course. That's not really the point of Big Brother. Might as well give each of the houstmates a script to read with just enough drama to keep us watching, but not enough to get ofcom pissy.

Why would you fire the people that picked them? Are they supposed to be psychic? No one knows how things will play out in the house. People lie on their VTs too much.

I love the twists. It's not BBs fault the house is so divided (well maybe a little their fault since they allowed noms talk the first couple weeks). The last two nom twists wouldn't have seemed unfair if the house wasn't divided.

but I think they did it to save their ratings since the public have been disgusted with how the outsiders have been bullied this season and as a result viewership is down.

I doubt BB care about saving any of them - for C5 it's all about the revenue and the best way to make more money is to have more people up - I guess the voting has been down given a lot of the public's favourites have been up so by doing this they are bound to increase their income.
