Not at all I fell out with a very good mate last year because of some other bitch but when were at parties we talk. Not fake, civil, on both Deana and Conor's behalf.

Conor has been unexcusibly nasty...even though Deana does not know to what extent...he has still been spiteful. Deana should have shown some balls and kept herself respect.

I think its because theyre in a small room, will be too awkward just to stand their with just the music booming.

I totally appreciate that but when a third party is involved it becomes difficult because sides often have to be taken ....or are taken. However Conors dislike of Deana comes from no where. He has never given a reason and she tried to sort it and he rebuffed her.... I wouldnt have given him a second chance.

Me either but as I said in my previous post itd be really awkward not to talk all night in a small room like that. Plus Ashleigh is probably acting like a... lubricant...

She's a ladee. Deana can do civil with relaxed face and unclenched buttocks.
Conor on the other hand will be crunched so tight he sucks the air from the room.

What is the point of the both holding a grudge wile still in the house? Its bad game plan and they are just making each other bb experiences worse. So I'm all for them being civil wile still in the out its not like they are going to become best mates once they leave.

It looks now as we move towards the final few weeks that most of the remaining HM know it's not about avoiding nomination as it is knowing you are liked by the public on the outside. To that end I can see more bridges being built, like between Conor and Deana eg as they become more aware that they are still playing the game and have a chance to win. Don't be surprised to see some new friendships develop as the remaining HM alter their tactics to win.

After what Conor said to Deana when she tried to speak to him and settle their differences when they were doing the washing task, there is no way I would give him the time of day in that house, he hasn't changed his opinion of her he is just sucking up to a popular housemate to try and stay in this week imo.
joeysteele
25-07-2012, 08:19 AM
They both can claim to be popular housemates,he is aware she has won 2 evictions, she will also be aware he has won 2 evictions too and also survived a 4 way one.
That is something they have in common at present, they have both been up more times than any other housemate for eviction.
Even real strong enemies hold secret admiration for their foes at times when they have to come through things repeatedly.
They are 2 adults, it would be quite good if they could try to get at least civil,I don't see that happening but I can see how a 'tolerance' can develop for each other to get through a task.
Deana has an automatic, almost prejudicial distrust of men anyway, Conor has never trusted her for ages now, without being able to trust a person, it is hard to be pleasant even to get along with them as you have to take great care as to what you say and do around them.
So in truth, for a lot of people, it is not simply worth the effort to try.

Conor's the one with a problem with the opposite sex.
Every single one of his nom's has been against a woman.

One them being the same one week after week like he is as to her her nominations too.
Deana has already labelled that all men are, or likely will be, cheaters, she clearly has an in built automatic almost prejudicial distrust of men.
That was my point or are you now going to try to be even more selective as to her by saying she doesn't mean anything by it.
I tell you this, had I been in the house and she had said that in front of me,I would have taken her to task for it,she has on her own statements a clear almost prejudicial negative view of men,I have no time for prejudice from anyone.
The odd thing is had I been in the house likely my noms would have been possibly all for women too, not because of any prejudice but because I hate liars and also not feeling able to trust people, so likely Deana, Lydia, Victoria,Ashleigh and now certainly Becky would have been the people I would nominated week after week.

I'll judge her by her actions. She trusts the two guys in her alliance and doesn't target just men in her nom's.
Lots of girls spout hot air about not liking guys for whatever reason but that's all it is, hot air. It's actions that count.

Closed for cleaning Mr Wong, Chuff and Sampvt, any of you who continue the argument or the insults after I reopen this thread will be infracted
Vicky.
25-07-2012, 09:54 AM
Too add to that, any time I see any of you getting personal with each other again, it will be an instant infraction also. This includes bringing up age in an attempt to win imaginary points in an argument. Discuss the housemates, not each other. If you cant hold back, then stick each other on ignore.
It seems to be in every thread now, and its getting very tedious

I'd grin and take it in my stride if I was locked in a room with somebody I didn't like.

Meaningless and ridiculously temporary reconciliations have become so common now, it is just a wonder that Conor has taken so long to attempt this strategy (but given how much he has built up Deana as Two-Face to his Batman, he may have thought, very sensibly, that no-one would believe him). As for Deana, it wouldn't benefit her more to be unforgiving and bitter, however seriously (or not) she may take these signs of remorse.
Is it known yet who actually made the approach in this conversation? I am assuming Conor. It would be more bizarre and disappointing if it was Deana, as the only reason I could think of for her doing that was to try and benefit from Conor's perceived popularity and win votes from his fanbase.
Vicky.

Meh. I speak to people I dont get on with if I absolutely have to. Like if it would make it awkward for other people if I didnt. It doesnt mean I suddenly like them or anything, just that adults should be able to be civil to each other even if they dont get on.

You also have to take into account, she doesn't know just how horrible Conor has been either, she doesn't know what Conor said in that "song" he made up about her plus we can hear all his bitching to other people but she can't

she was on a fishing expedition to see what he had on her. Deana will only build a bridge if she is carrying the detonator for the Gelignite in her pocket. The girl has no illusions, she knows Conor is a strong contender to her.

I wonder what Deannna will think when she hears this
Conor - Get your epilator, stick it up your ass. We don't give a ******, cause i'm gonna (inaudible). I'll give her a fun game, i'll stick this up her *********g minge the stupid bastard. I'll give her a *********g epilator (pushes brush upwards)/ I'm gonna play loadsa pranks on her.
Because she's a *********g piece of s**t. I don't care if i get pulled up to the diary room.
Ashleigh - What if she chucked water on ya
Conor - I'd punch her in the face. Just knock her out (punches the air) I'd say, get up off the mat you piece of s**t.
